Obama Promised he would fix it all.

One thing that is better Osama isout of the picture. I would hope who ever was president would of done it, but you never know.
The Republican party failed us. They caused this, and then they sent in McCain and Palin to fix it, and they failed. The Republican party failed by sending two idiots that no one would vote for, and McCain and Palin failed to win the election. They failed us all around.

The Republican party caused this, and then failed to fix it like they promised.

People hated Bush so much, I don't think any republican could have won

So it's not Obama who won.. everyone simply hated Bush so much that ANY democrat would have won. Taking credit away from Obama is what that statement does.

For over 2 years I've been saying it and you can look it up: Obama could save a drowning nun and there are those who would complain that he's interfering with Gods will.

See, it's not that he can do no wrong in his supporters eyes. It's that he can do no right in the oppositions eyes. Everyone knows that by now.

he won because he wasn't Bush

Thats why I started this thread, what is going well with our country? I'll give him credit for Osama, about time, he did get the healthcare law done, but it's still in the air if it is even constitutional....everything else is going to shit

Still trying to get my head around how he won a nobel peace prize, how many countries are we shooting people in now, 4?

What a load of shit! Who is shooting "people" in Pakistan? The USA went in for 1 person and 1 person alone, some others got killed but I'd hardly call it the USA shooting people in Pakistan. Its done, over, won't happen again. Even Libya, who is the USA shooting in Libya?

The full article is biased, this coming from someone who couldn't give a flying fuck about USA politics as well!

Actually, the USA has been running drones in Pakistan for a while, dropping bombs on them. Killed a lot of civilians.

Bill Clinton - Brains Do Work

All politicians aren't the same, I give you ... Bill Clinton:

If you want to add Obama to that, make the deficit bigger, stocks flat and jobs slightly lower.

Stop hiring people because they're rich, or their fathers were famous, or they make you feel less guilty, but because they're smart.

Again, Obama didnt win because he wasn't Bush. He won because he was far and away better than any alternative. So just bring a better alternative and there'll be another vote. And when Obama wins that one, there'll be some other reason why he won then too. Because he can do no right in the eyes of his opposition.

That's it right there. I was seriously considering voting for McCain until he chose Palin. That showed such poor decision making abilities that I couldn't possibly trust him to run the country. Point went to Obama

Overall, according to the U.S. Treasury, the federal debt increased by $3,646,116,554,704.36 between Jan. 20, 2009, when Obama was inaugurated, and April 13, 2011, when he gave a major speech announcing a plan to deal with the debt.

Average gas price when Barry took office in the US was 1.79, now it's above $4 where I live.

In almost every measurable way things are improving.

Stock Markets up
Health Care Reform
Bin Laden dead by the same team that took out those pirates
End of DADT
Tax cuts for everyone(even the rich)
The list can go on and on.

The only thing worse right now is that gas prices are on the rise because of speculators and the instability in the middle east with all the revolutions going on which have been, mostly, peaceful and started by people using twitter and facebook and NOT through military occupations.

Obama Promised he would fix it all.

One thing that is better Osama isout of the picture. I would hope who ever was president would of done it, but you never know.
Did you pay attention to anything Obama has ever said? He never said he would fix it all. He never said it was a quick process. Quite to the contrary he pointed out the troubles that lay ahead and the tremendous effort it would take to BEGIN to address those issues.

Instead, they opt for endless hours of partisan political debates with pornographers.

Considering you morons always blame Bush for the economy while crediting Obama for Osama's death, I'd say I was spot on. Nice job embarrassing yourself, jackass.

I don't think that the stock market has that much to do with anyone much anymore unless you are investing, house prices are still going down here

Killing Osama, good thing

DADT, they didn't have that when I was in the military, don't understand why it was ever a problem, interested how thats working for them now

no tax cuts, just continued tax cuts from Bush

unemployment is still bad and accepting it as the new norm is wrong at 9% and thats not even counting the people that fell off after the 99 week thing

Gas prices are effecting food prices dramatically,

I'm sure it can due to your ongoing rationalization. We'd all love to see an actual list of "better" things.

You'll get a few diehard liberals to delude themselves that things are better. The rest have thankfully fallen in line.

I do not care if you want to start your discussion topics. I do not care how many different right wing, Obama or Democrat hating, political threads you start. Nor that you like to go round and round with these all day week after week pissing in the wind on some pornography message board.

The point is very simple.

Stop trying to give the illusion to others you are 'presenting facts' when it is clear to anyone who has read even a handful of these types of threads that you are in, that you are biased like a mofo. Just say that and be honest with yourself.

I normally do not bother to even ready these threads, much less participate in them, as they are the same cast of characters arguing the same point, counter points, over and over every week. I just happened to catch this one today and saw the same name (you) with the same view point as always. But citing, 'just the facts'. When in fact is just more bantering of your die hard partisan beliefs. Just don the white sheets and be done with it.

You are completely wrong about "just continued tax cuts from Bush". Everyone got a tax cut up to 250k or more for families as well as other incentives, breaks, and credits.

Unemployment has been falling, barring the recent rise, but the job growth is also on an upward trajectory.

Which tax cut exactly? The one I got was like $10 a week and replaced another one that was lapsing. Although the one that it is replacing, I believe Obama set up the year before.

Falling because people ran out of 99 weeks.
