So it's not Obama who won.. everyone simply hated Bush so much that ANY democrat would have won. Taking credit away from Obama is what that statement does.

For over 2 years I've been saying it and you can look it up: Obama could save a drowning nun and there are those who would complain that he's interfering with Gods will.

See, it's not that he can do no wrong in his supporters eyes. It's that he can do no right in the oppositions eyes. Everyone knows that by now.
