It doesn't matter to me who owns it, but what is to be taken away from all of this is, this is EXACTLY one more reason to be more responsible with your 2257 docs and not pass them on to 2nd and 3rd parties. Because you never know who you're giving them to or what they will do with them.

Of course I know this is not the main way the names on that site were gathered, but I'm sure it is part of it.

From what I understand there are two issues.

1) Someone actually hacked the AIM database because it was not secured. If you know what you're doing with mysql, you could do that and get a lot of info. Not just by looking them up one at a time. If YOU logged in, you could only pull info on the models who's name you already have. You can't just download the entire AIM database. But you could go through it, theoretically, by A*, B*, C*, and so on.

2) All those DVD screeners that are passed around and all the content sets sold to ANYONE who wants them, most all come with complete 2257 docs.

Now what you have is a feeding frenzy and it looks like whoever owns that site is getting a lot of help from others in the industry.

A lesson to be learned here.

Also...

As a producer, you could log in at one time to check their test results, right? That was the whole point to the system.

That means that as those names were downloaded, so were all their test results. Pretty sure that is a big oops to allow that sort of breach happen where medical records could be exposed like this. Call me crazy, but I think there are laws for such a thing. They really dropped the ball by not making a secure system.

Over 15,000 names... wasn't done one at a time. Maybe one LETTER at a time, scraping all the A's, then all the B's, but in order to do that they had to get into the DB, which would be a hack. There is no other way to get that info.

According to whoever is running that site, the IDs are also coming from screeners and content packages. I don't believe AIM had anything to do with the ID leak, as those were not kept online. So yea, it has everything to do with that site.

I don't only shoot in Asia, I shoot in USA, South America and the Caribbean. It it doesn't matter what YOU think would be harmful to my models or if you can pronounce their name or not, because each country has it's own set of issues, and usually much more serious, than what you have in Porn Vally. People get blackmailed, arrested and murdered in some of the places I shoot. And this latest breach just justifies every action I've ever taken to protect my models. So while all of you wanna pass your shit around and think it's no big deal while the girls you make a living off of get exploited and abused even more, go for it, but the models who shoot for me will never have to worry about such an issue.

1) AIM is not on my side, and they are not on yours. They are a business. I've only even used them a few times, but now I have real hospitals do my blood work and they test for all STDs, which is another one of the industries down falls. Why not test for hepatitis? Why not test for herpes? Why not syphilis? Anyone have an answer for that? Though, that is an industry issue and not necessarily AIM's, but everyone involved should know better.

2) Here's a little info about the history of me and AIM... I once worked with a model who FAKED her HIV test, and I alerted both AIM and her agent. No one did anything about it or even seemed to give a shit. She continued to work and from what I heard, no one ever called her on it. 3) Because of AIM's incompetence, they leaked my personal information. And I'd bet according to California law, I could probably sue them for that, but I'm the least of their worries at this point and have more important issues to worry about. But they didn't leak YOUR info, they leaked MINE, and I take that personally.

4) There is no "our side" when it comes to me and my business. I don't rely on LA or the porn machine to put food on my tables. Not one of you would piss on me if I was on fire, and you know it. So don't anyone expect special treatment from me in return. AIM is not my friend, I owe them nothing. They owe me nothing. And they just dun goofed. God didn't just will 15,000 names onto Porn Wiki Leaks.

A solution to take a step in a more responsible direction:

1) Mandatory HIV testing.
2) Mandatory Hepatitis B & C testing

5) Mandatory Gonorrhea testing

7) Mandatory HPV testing

THEN... talent can CHOOSE who they work with based on those results.

Yes, while maybe not in this exact form, this was inevitable. Think about it... all of this private data just haphazardly passed around for all these years. A disaster waiting to happen.
