Yes, while maybe not in this exact form, this was inevitable. Think about it... all of this private data just haphazardly passed around for all these years. A disaster waiting to happen.
HOWEVER.... I strongly believe that something very positive will come from all of this and the IDs and personal info of the models will be better off because of it. Maybe not right away, but this is a huge lesson for the entire industry, should they pay attention to it and take positive steps to make sure it doesn't happen again.
So much for arguing that giving 2257 docs to secondary producers and 3rf parties is not safe.
This just shot that argument right in the ass. However, it creates a new argument with proof of what can happen if such info falls into the wrong hands.
