Ok, here's an interesting quirk that I noticed.
Currently running billers in cascading mode.... We had IBILL first for the longest time and sales were doing fantastic. Due to a couple network slowdowns and other things relating to IBILL, we put EPOCH first. Well... one thing I noticed is that sales actually went down 25% when using Epoch as primary. Anybody else notice this? I've heard from several on the board that when they switched to epoch their sales actually went up. I'm not sure why our sales would drop... branding (ibill is very well know to repeat porn buyers), look of joinpage, scrubbing, method of auth... donno! ![]()

We have had good steady sales with Ibill too - the only time we messed with that was when they stuffed up our sub accounts for a day and we switched over to ACPay as our primary. We saw our sales increase a little but since we have them as our secondary (to pickup failed ibill joins) we switched back.

Yeah, only problem is that iBill may or may not actually pay you the money you've earned.

I would say this... Look at quantity vs quality. It's not always about how much you can get through initially. How much do you keep? What do your creidt and CB ratios look like?
If you paying for traffic, you could be losing twice if your creidts are too high. And let's not forget, now there's the epassporte equation. Denials never looked so good. It will be a while before the epassporte product proves itself. But, after issuing cards in 79 countires in it's first week, there are definitly reasons to look at a processor who is fully integrated with this solution.

I'm NOT trying to put down EPOCH here, very happy with it but I'm curious why this would be. I guess it matters a lot on the traffic. Maybe International traffic has something to do with this.

If you have any ideas about why you are seeing any difference other than a postive one, I'd really like to hear your thoughts. As you said, most WM's claim a dramatic increase when switching to Epoch. Drop me an email today and let me take a look at your sites.

You mean people still actually use Ibill?
Believe me, if your sales were up such and such % it still doesn't matter because before you see the money they will deduct it in the form of chargebacks, refunds, or just swallow 30% of all your rebills for no reason at all. This is HISTORY my friend! I'm not telling you what I heard, I'm telling you what I KNOW!!! Go with Jettis. They're tighter than a frogs ass, .... And you know that's waterproof!

Use Flex Post
With epoch you will see over a 25% increase in sales if you do your home work, request the API's for flex post, upgrade plus, cross sales, email plus, ect.. It's well worth the work. Your refund and CB ratio with epoch will be lower than with Ibill. Epoch doesnt loose track of members eithers like Ibill does.

Does Epoch accept Canadian sponsors yet and if not are there any plans to do so anytime in the near future? Thanks |

For the phone number just put your normal phone number in Canada, for the address you should be setting up your company through a resident agent, your agent can setup a forwarding snail mail for a small monthly fee. It really all depends on what you want, the resident agent could be your virtual office as well, phone, address, bills, ect. Ofcourse they will bill you for the services though.

sounds like something to think about for sure, and it seems less of a headache than originally thought when reading the old messages from people that wanted to do this before the Visa deadline.
Thanks |
