Bodybuilders or people that have knowledge about supplements read.

Ok so I have been workin out for about 2 years. I never took supplements before but recently started taking cell-tech creatine. I have noticed I am not as sore as I would be without it. I was talking to some really built guys at the gym and he said he takes glutamine, creatine and some form of roids. He told me I should take glutamine as well as creatine. I wan't to know what the glutamine will do for me as well as some pro's and con's. Thanks.

Glutamine is an amino acid found in lots of food... L-glutamine is probably the most available amino acid in your muscle. The purpose of supplementing it is to reduce muscle deterioration that occurs when other tissues need glutamine (so they don't steal the stuff that stored in your muscle cells). No sides.

Creatine is overrated. Glutamine is good but make sure you are maxing out your protein intake before you worry about all that extra shit. Extra Glutamine without a good amount of protein intake does nothing for you. Shoot for 1.5 to 2 grams per pound of bodyweight.

If you want a good supplement try Tribulus.
