Isn't the premis of the tgp to serve as a come on to get the surfer to join the site it advertises? We have been thinking that when we really start submitting we'll probably get rejected by some tgp sites due to we're thinking we want to include some text along the lines of Even juicier images inside this site!

One other thing...hosting offshore will NOT prevent prosecution. I hope folks realize that. The UK has some laws about the 'citizens' themselves and its too easy to trace a site back to the owner. I think they WILL push this thing moreso in the next couple of years.

Richard's Realm will reject a gallery for "not enough nudity." Heh. I personally think there is a big market for lingerie pictures that don't show any nudity or just a bit of nudity.

As for hardcore, I don't think it matters if a gallery has hardcore or softcore pics. Any porn surfer who goes to the big TGPs everyday will see the exact same photos day after day and eventually give in and purchase a membership to a quality site that is updated with fresh photos sets every day or several times a week.

Rather a monetary reason than a moral reason, Ive been using less hardcore on my galleries too. When I use less hardcore on my galleries, I find that they convert a lot better. Ill post the softer pics leading up to the money shot....leaving the surfer wanting more.

I try to have gallery content that matches the banner theme. If I have AP banners on my gallery, then the gallery contains amateur pics. I have tried other different combinations, but the results get a bit worse.

I agree with those that contend that we have an obligation to society as a whole to market our products responsibly. If not a legal obligation than at least an obligation to human decency. The amount of hard material should depend on the type of site you are selling and on the traffic you are aiming your gallery page at. If its not appropriate to the genre/niche then you may discourage potential converts. Also too many or two few images can discourage sales. You want the surfer too be strongly interested but not overwhelmed or bored.
At my site I place softcore galleries and hardcore gallery links on seperate pages which hopefully helps the surfer to direct his interest (and credit card) straight to the object of his interst.
