The Beer Chilling Saga
Is anyone else as obsessed as I am about keeping my beer fridge as cold as possible without actually freezing the beer? I have a digital thermometer built into the fridge and am constantly monitoring it. My one drawback is that the current fridge does not offer a rotating wheel to adjust the temperature, rather a knob with 9 settings.
It's like a lifetime obsession. You would think I would eventually get to a temperature right, but it's harder than it seems. Different beers freeze at slightly different temperatures. |

My fride has digital controls and a LCD readout on the door to adjust temp and tells you exactly what the temp is set at
oh and i have a "drink door" I dont have to open the door to the fridge, i open the small drink door and grab a drink... keeps the inside temp consistent |

I just started keeping my glasses in the freezer, only downside is its so good I seem to be drinking many more beers.
So I may have to ban it soon. |

Yeah if I go to a party I always have 4 in freezer, and rest in fridge. WHen I go dry, take one from fridge and cycle to freezer.
It's an effective method. I need to drink 3 beer out of the freezer before the first one from the fridge is on deck and by that time it's usually pretty cold. |
