Ad networks profit margin ??
I'm curious what's profit margin for the ad networks like exoclick, juicyads and so on? 5%, 10%, 15%, 20% or even more from turnover? If you own bigger site, maybe it's worth to run your own ad network site and do no share profit with the ad networks?
Please share with the info ![]()

I don't mind that ad networks take their cut.. Now I won't have to search for advertisers and focus myself on the traffic part....

I don't mind either. The question was how much they earn from turnover?
Thanks

We charge 25%, so others I know are as high as 50%.
If you are bigger site, ad networks make more sense because rarely will a single advertiser pay you for your spots what we can offer you with 100s of advertisers buying different geos of the same spot.

You can run your own ad network on whitelabeladserver.com and serve unsold inventory through JuicyAds or another network... best of both worlds!

Well.. in fact, that can change depending on the source (website that the adnet is selling).. I've been buying traffic from Exoclick for a long time and I really can say that sometimes their profit margin could be tight as they try to sell good deals. I usually buy good global or Geos deals at a good price and I think in those specific cases, the margin is not that big.. but... the manage to sell almost ALL the traffic they get from the source.

25%+
For some traffic it is way higher than that. You can find a few good threads about that here on this forum. In particular one guy complaining about the cut for German mobile traffic from plugrush. To be fair the cut isn't necessarily profit though. They have costs in serving the ads, advertising, administration, payroll, and fraud.

ad networks simply hand-over the lion share of the income they generate to their publishers, keep in mind they also incur the server costs as well as their sales teams which are in charge of getting their publisher base a good range of deals.
