So my neighbor just called the police on me this morning.....LOL
 

Now this is a first. The neighbor that lives behind me called the police because I was watering his shrubs and trees that back up to our property fence.

Apparently he did not like me watering (with my water), the Cape Town honeysuckles, oleanders and the ash trees that he is letting die on his side that back up to our property. He told me he didn't want me to water anything. I asked him why, he told me the home is in foreclosure and the bank will get it with everything dead.

Anyway, I told him I was going to try and save any of the plants and trees that backs up to my fence as I do not want to look at dead trees when I am out back relaxing.

He went inside, must have called the police and then waited for them to arrive. We all had a talk, police mentioned to him he had every right to ask me not to water, but the complaint seemed silly beings I was using my water to water his stuff and was not really hurting anything.

Then the police then told the neighbor that he could be reported to the fire Marshal and city because his place appeared to be a fire hazard :winkwink:

Police asked me to not water anymore, I said no problem and told the police and the neighbor that I will let the fire marshal and city know about the potential for this place being a fire hazard and they can deal with the issue.....:1orglaugh

Oh lord. I am so thankful all of my neighbors are pretty cool. My husband plays his music in his studio and the only people that ever complained moved out. They called on us a few times, but we shut it down always by 9 PM because we also had kids that got up for school. But her thing was, she put her kids to bed at 6 PM and we were keeping them from sleeping. They were REALLY bad religious freaks and his music was of the devil, so she'd call the cops. MOST of them would come out and listen to the band for a bit and hang out for a little while....... she didn't know that we know and are close friends with most of the local and state cops around here for many years..... BECAUSE of the music.... so I owe all of the complainers thanks for that one. But she eventually moved out and all of the neighbors now will come out and even listen to them every now and then. Most being in their later years and like the entertainment. She told them she was moving out because of the noise..... bye bye bitch. lol

People just completely freak me out anymore, the things that piss them off is getting more and more silly by the damn day. lol

I'm glad my neighbors never have done anything like that to me. Most of them are dicks, but we have yet to have any major clashes or anything.

Prob worst thing that went down is the city put a giant "Beware of Alligators / No Swimming" sign square on my property and fucking up my lakeview because my neighbors' stupid grandkids like to bring all their friends when they house sit, and even though they have a pool, they all go swimming in the lake in innertubes.

I was going to call the city and bitch, because if they're going to fuck up anyone's private property it's not going to be mine, but one of my neighbors threw a fit even before I could and it was gone.

We just saw an adult gator Monday that was easily 6 ft plus. I don't know how anyone can live in FL and NOT know that you can't just jump in a lake and go swimming.

I do understand his predicament and I would just as angry as him, but there was no need to call the police on me. It wasn't like the thing turned into a screaming match...few simple words and bam, the cops are there.

depends on the type of mortgage, but his monthly payment could have easily doubled. So many shady lenders out there giving out loans or refinancing
