There is a reason that place is called Black Hat World, so I'd take anything that guy says with a grain of salt.

That being said, I was under the impression that Dating Gold was the one dating program that didn't allow themselves to be advertised on the file sharing forums or torrent sites, yet there is a big Amateur Match banner on the front page of Planet Suzy. I thought that it was maybe an Adbrite placed banner but it appears to be an actual affiliate link...

Yeah Smokey, I guess if I was DatingGold, I would have just wanted you to make me aware of that post, but not bring it over here... With 24k posts, you certainly know that DG is a bunch of good guys that have a great name for being respectful and ligit. Not knowing anything about that guy... I would lean toward believing that DG either had their reasons, or, made a mistake.

If you see something about HookUP like that, I would ask that please find me vs. spreading some non-sense. (which I believe it to be)

I don't generally email anyone for anything . For the same reason most people "bring it" to gfy , email is slow , usually you get ignored. If i had them on a shortlist i would have contacted them first , then posted the thread. I think most gfyers have enough common sense to read beyond a thread title , and those that dont are probably of little concern to you, me or dg :) my apologies to dg if they didnt find the thread funny.



My instinct would be if i found the same thread about hookup to do the exact same thing , but then again you said please and "respect" so if it ever happens we will have to see :winkwink:

hi guys, im going to investigate it further tomorrow.
that thread was dated 7/3, which means that if he was banned by us (mostly by me), that must have been for period 6/16- 6/30.

He said he made about close to $6k, I couldn't find his account. Obviously, i couldnt find alderous either.

If someone here knows who he is, I would love to know and if he wasn't banned yet, maybe I will now.. lol

The reason that he mention is quite silly... i believe he got out of the program because of the poor free/paid profiles ratio

AK will find out who the affiliate was. We don't ban someone unless they were doing something fraudulent or a scam. Our history proves this.

I call bullshit that you meant not harm and made this thread for a chuckle. The fact that you chose that title and posted something older than 30 days clearly tells me you have something against DatingGold. Perhaps you should address the real issue with us directly rather than using defamation.

As for the title, your disclaimer wasn't in the title. People get sued for this type of stuff especially when proven wrong. I recommend you have it changed before I decide to make a big deal out of it and call up my lawyers and spend $250k to make a point.

A common complaint on that thread is how bad DG support sucks. And unf I have to agree.

I had 150 bucks a month from tier 2 with DG, overnight that went down to zero. There could be many reasons for this.. im not shouting scam. But I wanted to know why....

I added a few DG reps on icq and just got a 2 week runaround.
Silence/one word replys/promises to look into it.
I gave up in the end.

In my opinion the signups counted are not the most accurate over at DG.

The original poster was complaining about the lack of response to his emails, so were a few other people. By all means cancel an account, but tell the guy why and respond to his emails.

Smokey I think you should contact gfy admins and have the title changed. DatingGold Is a brand and they've worked their ass off to build an honest and well respected brand. Your title and this thread staying on page one of gfy is bad for them. People will read the title over and over and not even click the thread. The damage will be done to datinggold. People will have a negative opinion of them based on the title alone.

You've been around a long time. Surely you know better. The fact you had a disclaimer means you had your doubts about the thread title in the first place.

I have no problems with datinggold this thread wasn't even a poke at them , it was merely a funny reflection of that thread. Like a drug dealer complaining the judge didnt use proper legal procedure.
