The only reason I came to this thread was because I saw Smokey posted it, and he's not someone I consider a troll or a surfer. I was a bit disappointed when I read the whole paragraph of post, but am not horribly surprised that the title of the thread has been changed.

Quite the contrary, from a slimy business point of view it would be in my interest to leave the thread as is, expecting affiliates to skim through the thread not get the joke, and decide against DG, thereby increasing our chances for signing up those affiliates.

Instead, I'd like to believe there's mutual respect, both personal and professional, therefore we don't have to resort to such methods. Respect as opposed to "being Bros". Additionally, if i did not care about Smokey, i would not have spent the time writing a reply to try and explain a business owner's perspective. Thinking you have a brand to Affiliates is about as silly as thinking Affiliates are loyal.

There are many people here who advertise, and *gasp* they are not above everyone and actually do respect other forum members.
