i live in michigan where there isnt really any agencies to find girls. i want to find a 18-20 year old girl for a solo girl site. where is the best place to start once i'm ready? |
out of curiosity, how effective do you think it would be to use the 'scouting for models' guise for finding girls who just want money to fuck ie basically prostitution?
i've always wondered about this... |

Get them to talk about themselves, ask some questions, take an interest in the answer too - and ask them if they have the guts (or balls - that's funny) to pose nude. Don't ask girls in large groups or with thier boyfriends. And keep your convo clean & respectfull even if she says "no" because I've had girls keep my card for 5 years & finally use it. Over the past year, I've found some of my models through onemodelplace, and i've also placed ads in local college papers.
Had success in both places, but the quality of model -- and eagerness to go far enough -- vary by model. Q: Where should I be looking for new explicit nude models? I don't need hardcore fucking-sucking -- just explicit nude, solo and toys. That is, where would you concentrate your recruitment dollars in an under-served market like mine? Should I just use a Philadelphia/New York agency and fork over the dough? Or shoot new, young models who don't know any better? :winkwink: Thanks! |
I have a 30-ish woman to do my recruiting for me, too, so it's not some sleazy guy going after them (like me!).

Beware: Strip club girls often look a lot worse with the lights on -- I've had to retouch many an image of strippers for club websites. I often wonder if the girls wonder where the scars and stretch marks go when they get in front of my camera. :pimp

A good buddy of mine dated a stripper for about 2 years. They broke up, but are still really good friends. She has told us she has friends who are interested in doing porn....and these girls are hot. 1. How do we get them to commit? 2.Can I refer them to a content producer? Some good info Peter. I too shoot original content, although I am nowhere near as prolific as you are.
As in any business, word of mouth is the best. Probably 50% of the models/performers that I have worked with came to me via referrals (I also offer a headhunter fee). The most famous first-timer model that worked with me first was Annie Cruz. Annie e-mailed me after reading the "Models Wanted" section of my site. Once you have booked a model, the single most important thing that I would emphasize is paperwork - make sure that you have a signed model release and that the first frame in your camera (still/video) is the model holding her ID proving her age. It's nice when somebody offers up their time to respond to questions from a large group of people. and it's rather insane to try to answer them. But if you open yourself up... you should try to give decent answers. He said he was going to talk about model recruitment. I happen to own dormangels so I've done a little bit of it....but it's always cool to share some lessons and tips/tricks. So I wanted to get a feel for how he does his model recruitment... word of mouth, ads, online scouting, etc.... asked for his %'s ... i was going to do a follow up ... once he told us all how he tends to find his models. and the answers were ... % that you approach on the street. (100% of the ones interested) % that respond to ads (he doesn't really advertise) % that you solicit online/email (whenever i have time) % that email you from your sites (a bunch, no real numbers) those responses really didn't answer the questions asked... nor did they help anybody in figuring out what is a good use of time and a bad use of time for model recruiting... cept maybe you could infer that he doesn't like the results of print ads |
