Money is important to everyone. I'm sure there's a handful of people that could honestly say money means nothing but none of them are posting here.

How about this:
1. Would you rather be SUPER rich (like billionair status), have beautiful women (or wife) and all the material wealth you can ever want. But the drawback is everyone likes you ONLY for your money including your women/wife. Old friends are jealous so they no longer like you. So basically everyone you are surrounded with daily is fake and only wants something from you. OR 2. You are not rich but can support your family modesly. You have a beautiful wife/girlfriend that TRULY loves you and friends and family that care. I think a happy medium between these two is best. Sure it would be great to be SUPER rich but at what cost? |
Money may not be the most important but it is important other wise most of us would not be here....

I find that the people don't like me for my money, they are still very nice to me.

Money means nothing. The things you can do with it, however, do mean quite a bit.
Still, the only thing that really matters is happiness, and unlike what many people seem to believe, more money does not equal more happiness. Some of the happier times in my life, I had no money at all... right now I have plenty, but I'd give all of it up for the happiness I had then. |

I know lots of people that live well under their means. I'm talking about the people who are broke and always gabbing how money isn't important. Lot's of girls do this trying to talk guys out of working so much. They are full of shit. |
money is good
it is very good it CAN buy me happiness, but nobody can survive with money alone. you need health, friends and family, also values and culture :2 cents: |

Money can make you happier, it just cannot make you happy.
The myth is that once you attain a great wealth you will be happy. This normally works because most people never get there and strive their whole life. Those that do reach it realize that it wasn't all it is cracked up to be. Most people who have alot of money remember the best times being when they had to scrape together to buy a loaf of bread or eat Top Ramen till payday. |
