Adult.com and XFR announce the Grand Opening of Jupiter Hosting!

We opened the Jupiter Hosting datacenter 5 months ago, but have not made the services to the general webmaster community until today!

With the new industry economics, it's more important than ever to not overpay for hosting. Read the news, then drop us an email to find out how much cash you can save.

ICS and XFR Networks announce Jupiter Hosting Corporation.

For Release July 9, 2003

ICS and XFR Networks today announced the launch of Jupiter Hosting Corporation (http://www.jupiterhosting.com). Focused on Managed Dedicated Server hosting and co-location services, Jupiter hosting directly addresses the growing needs of the adult webmaster community. As a separate operating firm of ICS, Jupiter Hosting will be headed by former XFR Networks CEO, Ray Taft. "ICS will remain a shareholder of Jupiter Hosting as well as one of its largest clients. The relationship between Jupiter Hosting and ICS was forged to benefit the adult webmaster. I think it will be of some comfort to our customers to know that they do business with a hosting company that knows their business." says Ray Taft, CEO of Jupiter Hosting.

Services provided by Jupiter Hosting are all inclusive. Managed hosting includes 24 X 7 live toll-free telephone support. With managed hosting, customers draw on the technical ability, Jupiter Hosting to address the majority of their technical needs throughout the lifetime of the account. New and existing customers will also benefit from free "move" services whereby Jupiter Hosting engineering staff will move a customers data and sites completely from their existing hosting provider to Jupiter Hosting at no cost.

?The launch of Jupiter Hosting is the result of nearly a year of work expanding and building on the foundation and hosting expertise of XFR Networks.? says Ray Taft.

Built for performance, Jupiter Hosting boasts a complete BGP4 multi-homed network with direct connections to Major ISPs in the U.S., Europe, and the Pacific Rim. ?By connecting with Domestic and Foreign ISPs directly, we get our customers servers as close to the ?eyeballs? accessing their content.? Ray continues,

Jupiter Hosting was built from the ground-up to provide these superior services and save Adult Webmasters money at the same time. In fact, Jupiter Hosting guarantees to provide to a superior product at a better price than what webmasters presently pay for average hosting.

?By spending the time and money to build a nationwide backbone of our own, we have created a hosting company where performance, service, and price are synonymous,? concludes Taft.

SleazyDream 07-09-2003 12:45 PM

Someone's hacked Lensman's GFY account.

if adult.com really did open a new division for hosting there would have been a big spammy popup thing in the middle of GFY when I opened it today.......................

obviously this is a hoax.

Ive been tearing up the network and trying to burn out my server for a few weeks now and it handles everything with ease. And I have a lot of traffic and a shitload of heavy scripts running through the Jupiter servers. Josh configured the shit like only a expert would know how. Its nice to have tech support that is so sharp.

The tech support is fucking great at Jupiter. Real sharp bright crew. Very very very impressed. (you should see my icq logs of praise towards josh the tech guy on the jupiter server)

Also the way you guys handled the DDOS attacks on GFY and adult.com also speaks for itself as proof.

Many hosts are still trying to battle the attacks unsuccessfully.
More importantly many tech admins have had problems with my scripts in the past. Not the case here.

Its nice to be able to sleep well at night knowing the new family host has my back.

Now that the secret is out about Jupiter Hosting it is the Official Host of the Boneprone Family.

depending on quality it isn't.

Smegma 07-09-2003 01:14 PM

All of that is discounted.. note the "Discount Available" to the right.

Also.. look at the specials.

100Mbps for $5,000!

I will beat any average hosting deal. All you have to do is ask.

Granted. If I had a paysite of any large size, I would pay that I guess.

Also if you notice many quality TGPS host at places that tend to be known as higher end hosts. A bit more in price.

I had to learn the hard way why this was.

Already i can see the difference in server configurations and connectivity. The extra buckor2 really does reflect the product in this case.

But like Ray said, talk to em. They make deals.

BradShaw 07-09-2003 01:37 PM

Is it true that Ray personally makes out with each server before it goes live?

Does this replace XFR, or is it along-side?

Snake Doctor 07-09-2003 01:58 PM

Who are your bandwidth providers? And do you round robin through them randomly or do you have them set up as primary/secondary etc?

We have several, 25 now, providers that are both transit, public, and private peers.

We use BGP4 to determine the best route between the browser and the server to deliver our customers content.

We are adding a peer a week, all be it transit or other.
