Sad to say its true... mainstream web guys make a lot more than that for a lot less work.

As long as its not direct client contact but via ICQ or IM, why not OUTSOURCE this?

For the 30-40K you'll pay an American/Canadian/European you get 20-30 workers producing 20 times the results for same amount of pay as 1 US/Can/EU worker.


Outsourcing = the future

Post on a French board. They have close to 20% unemployment now. And you won't even have to provide any whine -- maybe some cheese though. And two hour lunches. Oh, and you'll have to cut the work week back by 3 days. And give them 2 months paid vacation.

But aside from all that, they make great employees. Although they might surrender to your competition, so that non-disclosure clause is key.

By requiring experience, it's safe to assume that most applicants will already have their own small/big network of sites. Will they be expected to stop promoting those?

You are fucking kidding. Salaried employees cannot be required to work over 50 hours a week and/or more than 5 days a week without additional compensation as ruled by the 8th Court of Appeals decision last year. Wal-mart has a multi-billion lawsuit over this exact issue (in which they are losing in early rulings).

For those hours, you should be offering at least 70k+/yr.

My best suggestion is to send the work offshore to the Phillipines, or India, or Russia.

Low level store management at Costco make $44k base.

THat's one hell of a burger king job. BK I believe pays minimum and doesn't make you work full time. So at most they pay $15K a year. So I don't think Roger's offer is a BK job.

its epic cash. in the other thread they ask you to send age/sex/2 references/many other things. any company that violates hiring laws by asking for age/sex arent worth working for.
