I'm not the one claiming a total body transformation.... it's not total until the tat is fixed / altered / or removed. It is exactly the same in both pics. Seems a bit shy of total to me.

Cool, landing page offer is good for as long as you need it. Hit me up for the latest design we did when you get the chance.

seeandsee 04-07-2011 05:35 PM

most of that fat loss was in the 1st 90 days, then maintaining low body fat (sub 10%) while adding lean muscle mass over time. learning how to lift weights properly was prolly the hardest part. :)

kristin 04-07-2011 05:42 PM

Shave or wax? ;)

I would think the tat is a lower priority than the boob-job and gender reassignment...

dyna mo 04-07-2011 05:49 PM

could a mod please change the thread title to

total body transformation except tattoos, penis & nuts, titties (well, they've changed a lot technically), etc, et al, on & on..

thanks in advances!

Guess I'm somewhat confused by your post. I've followed your dieting and exercise plan over the last year. However, when you say 5 weeks ago you cut way back on your exercise and relaxed on your diet, what happened? Are you saying those changes spurred on your transformation or are you just showing what you have achieved even despite your recent lax in diet and exercise?

Iron Mike 04-08-2011 12:34 AM

so today losing weight is called "body transformation" ... okey, gettin' older

yes, i am saying those changes spurred/contributed to the change. one of my goals over the last 15 months was to experiment with a variety of workouts and eating plans so i could find the one that works best for me. i don't want to spend a shitload of time in the gym, i don't want to always eat skinless chicken and 2 cups of vegetables every 4 hours.

so meni, on another board, let me know about a program called lean gains. it's not based on what you eat but when you eat. basically it involves fasting every day, so for 16 hours (from 9 at nite till 12-1 the next day, i do not eat anything at all. then between 1 and 8 i eat whatever i want to.

there's research that backs up the benefits of intermittent fasting in regards to not only keeping lean mass but adding lean mass as well. in addition to many other benefits of fasting, such as hormone output.

for the protocol to work, it has to be coordinated with resistance training, not much but the right stuff- compound movements 3x a week, about 2.5 hours total.

so i decided to give it a whirl and it does work for me and fits very well with my lifestyle. :)

i'm 46, it's also called body recomposition. call it what you want. it's simply a thread. feel free to post your results.

dyna mo 04-08-2011 07:45 AM

thx peeps, hopefully some are motivated by this to continue their fitness and wellness goals or maybe some newbs will be motivated to get going on a program. if i can do it, most anyone can.

basically when you get to a certain point of muscle/fat ratio it becomes harder to gain back the fat. You become such a fat burning engine that you can't even sabotage it if you wanted to.... or in other words it would take a lot of time to gain the fat back. He seems to be well past the yoyo stage so he's safe to experiment with just about anything at this point I would say.

nice work dyna_mo

Congrats man!

I've had a slump over winter :( but I am going back at it soon. I want my body back!

thanks, this has a lot to do with it and part of why i titled the thread 15 month update. yoyo-ing is a big problem i wanted to make sure i dealt with, slow and steady is the best response i think. + muscle growth is not the speediest of things either, lolz. but i also have to say i think the intermittent fasting is revolutionary and also needs to be considered.
