Mourinho not so special one anymore

Once again it was proven how Mr Mourinho is not so special.

And Inter is out of the Champions league for the 3rd year in a row at the first stage of the knock out round.

The British team kicked out the Italian teams although i don't really see the supremacy of the English Premiere League VS SERIE A.

If Roma and Juve didn't have 15 players out for injury those would have been different games which were very close anyway.

ManU with AC Milan are the most powerful and dominating team of the last 10 years of CL and it showed it again against Inter.

To the Second team of Milan the message when they play the Champions League Slot Machine is:

AC Milan.. remind me did they qualify for the champions league, how they doing in the uefa cup?

Roma are a good team at home but suck away, Juve did o.k but now Chelsea have got Essien back their midfield has got its backbone again.

kmanrox 03-12-2009 06:59 AM

sure! why would one think that English teams are superior! that's just unfounded! there's no proof the past few years in this!!

They are still destroying AC Milan in Serie A. I'd say that makes him a bit more special than Ancelotti.

kmanrox 03-12-2009 08:01 AM

we'll get to see how special he is when either fergie or wenger decides to retire

You don't see why the Premier League is better than Serie A? Well, the last three Italian teams were knocked out of the Champions League by ENGLISH teams, and there are four Premier League teams in the last eight. Does that help explain it? LOL!

And BTW, I'd love to see Jose back at Chelsea. He was the best manager the team ever had.

Last year as well 4 English teams went through and an all English final. The Serie A fans are bitter there once great league has gone to shit, they are the 3rd best league in the world now and arguably even 4th.

Allformyspace 03-12-2009 09:23 AM

Joe is doing a great job at Inter, they are first in serie A and i doubt anyone has a minimum shot of competing with them. BTW hes doing his best to be hated by everyone, just like he did on the rainy island.
I don't think that 1 game can say that British football is better than the Italian, i seen all 3 games: Juventus was a man down and was very close to taking down Chelsea, Roma lost at the last penalty shot and Inter played a very good game and who knows how to be balanced in their judgment can state that they didnt deserve to lose at old traford.

Regarding title winners England, Italy and Spain are all tied at 11 each.

Milan is the only team, and sometimes they arent even the Italian team to count on. Italian football is in general very slow compared to Spanish and English.

Watch a barca, man u and liverpool ..... they can pass the ball, and do it quickly.

Look at the last few years not one game...

And man utd dominated inter at the san siro, and even though they played like shit at old trafford they still won 2-0, thats shows the difference in class between the premierships top team and the serie a's.

Then the next top teams, chelsea comfortably beat juventus, they won 3-2 on agg meaning juve would have needed 2 more goals if they wanted to win.

Arsenal dominated at the emirates and likewise roma at home, both were missing key players although asenals more considerable. The fact roma bottled it on penalties at their own stadium says a lot.

Then liverpool absolutely dominated real madrid 5-0 over 2 legs. If you cant see how the premier league is so much stronger than serie a over the past few years then you're in denial.

Sure and you go with the crowd.

TH PL doesn't have the quality players that the SERIE A has. Period.

You don't see let's say Sotke city beat ManU at old Trafford or any other top team, maybe once in 10 years. In Serie A Cagliari can go to Turin and beat Juventus or Palermo beat Fiorentina in Florence or Bologna beat AC Milan in Milan.

Tactical knowledge, pure technique, quality of the plays are without a doubt superior in serie A.

British players are just average, Rooney is the only star and this explain why England never won and important international competition ( world cup, Euro cup) in the last 40 years.

English team's defense lines are a joke, anyone can score and this is why Ian Rush failed in Italy and so did Robert Platt, Mark Hately and this is why cristiano Ronaldo plays and scores only in the PL. He was Missing in action in every away game and in the recent EU 2008.

FA has the money to market the PL better than any other league this is why it is considered superior or better than the Spanish Liga or the seria A.

Furthermore let's see how many British players and coaches are within the rankings of Chelsea,ManU,Liverpool and Arsenal....

Obviously you dont want any PL football, but how do you explain the fact English teams have such an impressive record vs serie a teams? As in, 9 times out of 10 premiership teams win?

Why are you talking about Ian fucking Rush? This is 2009 ya stupid grease ball.

For the world's top players, Serie A is no longer the league of choice. Where once Diego Maradona and Zinédine Zidane entertained Italian fans, now the world's stars flock to the Premier League or the Spanish Liga. The Bundesliga and Ligue 1 now boast some of the country's top stars. Italy won the FIFA World Cup in 2006, but since then results for both clubs and country on the international stage have been disappointing. The sporting fraud scandal in the summer of 2006 hit Italian football hard, but that is not the only problem. Italian clubs simply do not have the same financial clout as their English rivals.

http://www1.uefa.com/competitions/uc...id=809880.html

I agree, in some way you must be half italian, all you have to do is look up the last years international results.

Another clueless fucking yank trying to have an opinion on something he knows nothing about.

Why the fuck are you quoting years gone? Fuck me, someone wins something 10 years ago and that makes it valid today in terms of whats the best league? I know you are a yank, but even you know football isn't played in time machines?

The PL hands down over SerieA, the PL has better players and they are stronger. The PL plays a different game then the SerieA, if you really watch it closely, SerieA doesn't even compare.

The second best league to me is LALIGA, Barca is playing very well. I love Ronaldodinho, but they are better off with out him. Even at Milan he is not playing up to par, to much of the night life.

I take my hat off to the PL, they are way ahead of the other leagues.

"The English team"

It was Manchester United! and Serie A is fucking shit!

The Premier League isn't as dominating as serie a?

:1orglaugh what a fucking joke.

All english Final last year,
2008 Which we Manchester United Won!
2007 Ac Milan won
2005 liverpool won
2003 Ac Milan won
1999 Manchester United won.

Sorry if I'm wrong but that means in last 10 years 3 english winner and 2 from italy

May I also add that Chritstiano Ronaldo has won both world player of the year awards for 2 straight years. can't remember the last time a Serie s player won it.

You are fucking clueless! :1orglaugh

P.S. an english team(manchester united) will win it this year aswell.

kmanrox 03-12-2009 11:08 AM

it's pretty funny to watch ppl try to argue that Serie A is a 'better' league than the EPL. heh.. even Blatter is freakin out trying to bring down the power of the EPL by requiring a certain % of the players to be homegrown.

Reak AGV 03-12-2009 11:10 AM

Three years of poor quality in a row.

Si 03-12-2009 11:27 AM

How many teams from serie a are left this year?

ummm...... NONE! :1orglaugh

And how many Englsigh teams? OH thats RIGHT 4!!!!!

:1orglaugh

Stupid fucking idiot

Twistys Tim 03-12-2009 11:35 AM

I would think that Jose's time at Inter is very limited now. He only got the job because he promised them CL silverware. Winning Serie A isn't gonna keep him his job (as Maldini found out the hard way. He was fired to bring in Jose). I would think Man City for Jose next season -- Hughes is on borrowed time. The City owners are keeping him until they can see what develops around Europe, and most importantly in Milan.

I think you mean Mancini. Not the greatest ever AC Milan defender Paolo Maldini.

The Premiership is the best league in the world in my opinion. As for the guy who said Rooney is the only good English player, please watch a few games. Frank Lampard, a midfielder for Chelsea averages 20 goals per season. Steven Gerard, a midfielder for Liverpool averages 20 goals per season.

Rio Ferdinand is one of the best Defenders in the world. John Terry is also one of the best. Thats just four players. I could go on and on.

Serie A is boring to me. I love watching English matches tho.

Yes -- I did mean Mancini.

You do not have to tell me about the Premiership. I am English, and it is all I watch.

Watching the Italian catenaccio is painful for me.

Premier League soccer/football is SO much more entertaining to watch than Serie A. Hopefully, Mourinho will come back to the Premier League as well. Get out of Serie A, he's too good for it.
