$25,000+ is chump change to some Sponsors/Webmasters. The domain is PODporn, not IPODporn for a reason... APPLE has a nasty new habit of targeting people using IPOD in their domain names... but they're leaving the POD people alone because of all the PODcasters etc.

IPOD has been an acronym for the military for many more years than Apple has been around.

i was reading up on dnjournal on the spanish domains and checked and ipodvideo.es and ipod.es isnt taken :)

all my names were listed at $123 min. until i had a chance to adjust pricing. I just uploaded a large list and Afternic gave me a fit when I wanted to list them as "make offer". :upsidedow I'm considering moving my domains over to SEDO because they're offering a sweeter deal if I use them "exclusively". :thumbsup

apple has no problems with this domain if that is what you are asking ,



it is a myth that apple has been going after many domains with ipod in the name,

if they have then it was because of something offensive included in the name, or on the domain

its perfectly legal to sell ipod nano's , and thus I have every right to this domain if I decide to sell ipod nano's :2 cents:

Personally, I think it's a great name, at a price I'd consider if I were developing an iPod porn site. It seems to me the most obvious type-in domains for iPod-formatted porn would be porncast.com, podporn.com, ipodporn.com, and porncasts.com. Ipodporn.com has a high trademark risk, but given Apple's hands-off approach to the podcasting-related terms, the others seem on much safer legal ground. Overture lists October searches for "ipod porn" at 826, "pod porn" at 186, "porn cast" at 135, "podporn" at 99, "porncast" at 181, and "porncasts" at 42. Those are small numbers, but it's a new market, and it does demonstrate their viability in terms of type-in traffic.
