I think he is thinking about copyright and trademark infringements... Steve Jobs wants nothing to woth iPod porn - but he knows that it is out there and he knows DMAN right well that many people will be using iPods w/video FOR porn purposes. and you're basing this on what? are you targeting the IPOD PORN market? launching a mobile content delivery service for IPOD owners? Are you a sponsor who already has or is planning to have an IPOD-enabled site?

if it's not a market you're targeting, then of course the name is "way too much" for you. If you're selling PORN to people for their IPOD this is a perfect name and priced right. end of story. There are always people like you in every industry, this domain is too much, that domain is too much, etc... blah blah blah... I sold a name last month that's worthless to everyone in the adult industry, but it was a "must have" for the buyer (a major media company launching an "on demand" service)... if I listed the domain here and the price it sold for you would've said they overpaid... but in their opinion they got a sweet deal because the domain only cost them 5 figures and not 6. Bottom line, I own the domain name and there's a few programs out there that want to use it... now it's just a matter of negotiating (the fun part). :winkwink:

It doesn't matter to me if a buyer acquires a domain from me for development purposes or to keep competitors at bay, not my business unless I have a stake in the future of the company. I know a little bit about the buyer and MPORN is just one of their mobile brands... very smart guy... so yes I'll continue to reference that sale.
