just find some free proxy and use it to access gfy... or set up a VPN account with some hosting company...
btw. Sorry to hear you're going to hospital. Hope you will be fine! |
do you have a desktop at home? could just use gotomeeting from your laptop into your desktop..
or of course use a proxy or the tor browser bundle |

Bro, listen to area51 OR even eaiser if you or a friend has a windows server, and will let you login you can surf that way. Either of those methods will work perfect for you. Also most important is please take care of yourself and I wish you the very best for this procedure and the whole damm cancer battle. My prayers are with you old timer.:pimp

Forget about GFY for 3-4 days, rest and get well soon.
|
I think, if you are lying in a hospital bed, you should be able to look at whatever you please.
Sounds like sound tech suggestions in this thread anyway. Best of luck for a speedy recovery. |

Only advantage gotomypc has over rdc is you can transfer a file from computer to computer thru the interface, but there is a fee for gotomypc winxp and win7 will have remote desktop but on your home computer you will need winxp profesional to be able to use is as the "server" regular winxp can be used as a "client" you will need to open a port on your router if you have one for it to work. i use rdc all the time and have even connected to my home computer from a different country and it worked fine but was slow then. |

I hear what you guys are saying, but when dealing with shit like that sometimes getting your mind off where you are and occupying yourself with something is a huge help.
I'd rather read GFY and get some lols than lay back in a bed and watch shitty hospital TV. Best of luck to you, Fungus. |
I hope things turn out well hun!

try google translate, translate from something (whatever, chineese for example) to english. It works like a proxy, but if there is a text detection i won't work. |
tether to your mobile phone
|
You could install Teamviewer on both unit, and use that to connect to your PC, surfing from there.
Just make sure to desactivate the sleep mode on the remote PC. Or a free proxy could do it . |
check your mail for a stable free proxy that works with gfy...
|
4 tumors and a biop...ouch
This should be a "I'll be gone for a few weeks thread" . Whoever is paying you needs to know how dedicated you really are. Hope for a speedy recovery. |

LogMeIn is a nice program. I run it on all my computers (Mac and Windows) and can access and control any of them from my phone.
