robfantasy 09-03-2008 07:56 PM

the obama delusional idiots on here have no idea how politics work.

palin appeals to the voters in the key states that will determine the outcome of the election...

the gop is not trying to win over closet homosexuals like some of the idiots in this thread.

obama is done. he has no chance. palin is great. great strategy for the gop

Extremely likeable. Extremely good speaker. Doesn't look nervous looks super comfortable and in control. :2 cents:

Brujah 09-03-2008 07:59 PM

She has experience as a Mayor. A town of 6500, leaving them with a $20 million debt. She did get $10 billion for Alaska as Governor though. How? Raising taxes on the profits of the Oil and Gas companies. Do you support those results and her tax strategy Sticky?

Not this time around. Sorry, but there is NO way this ticket gets into office. Don't believe me? Bump this thread in November.

As for watching the crowd reaction? Please. The atmosphere is pathetic compared to the Democratic convention. Hell, even the audience seem resigned to the fact that they don't stand a chance.

On a more realistic side note, there's some hot young republican's in the audience. Being that they're all being taught abstinence before marriage, you just KNOW they're fucking and that you can tell them they're still virgins if they only have anal sex...or they can't get pregnant if they're on top.

Doesn't matter what I support, Im telling you what the majority of Americans feel and think. You can see momentum gaining for McCain and Palin. I wasn't interested in this election at all, but now enjoying watching how things roll out.

There will be movies made about these debates. The intelligence will be lopsided. It will be comedy at its finest.

MrKinkade 09-03-2008 08:04 PM

lol, talk about delusional. As I said, bump this thread in November and remind us how Obama had no chance and how this was a great strategy.

The only thing I'm surprised about so far is there aren't any Republicans in 2012! signs in the audience. They may as well try to get a head start.

I made several bets during the 2004 election, and heard the same things said back then too. Democrats don't know how to win elections anymore. A black man with a middle eastern sounding name, and a white extreme lefty washington insider.

Seriously that was the best they could do? Republicans can phone this one in and still win. The polls in 2004 for the Dems showed them way ahead.

What's your most important issue? You're not a republican because of the elephant. Is it taxes? abortion? guns? Just curious. It seems you'd support them even if they're anti-republican.

Gaining? obama got a 6 pt bump from the convention and then another 2 pt bump from the picking palin. You are kidding right.

It shows how fearful Republican's are about this election when they try to make people afraid of the NAME of a candidate...or how ignorant American's are.

qxm 09-03-2008 08:12 PM

as good as watching Springer....

RP Fade 09-03-2008 08:12 PM

Im a bit confused..someone clarify this for me please.

McCain's slogan is 'country first'. How is choosing Palin from the 100's of more qualified and experienced potential republican VP's putting the country first? It seems more to me like McCain was losing his conservative and evangelical base and the choice of Palin seems more to me like 'shit..my election, the bible belt and the NRA first'.

Please don't answer with the typical 'she's more qualified than Obama, etc etc' speech. That's not the question. I just want an answer on how McCain choosing Palin is putting his country first because I can't seem to answer it.

For the record, I'm an independent and voted for both parties on various state/national elections. I have not made up my mind who I'm voting for. Heck, I might not even vote..

I could believe them getting a bump picking Palin, but everything I heard was Obama didn't get much, if any of a convention bump.
