Anybody here ever use HGH?

I'm a female, just turned 30 and always thought that HGH was for older men. But a doctor that I've been going to at a diet clinic sold me on it. I've been taking it now for a few months and can't believe the results. I gained 65 pounds from a recent pregnancy, but I've been able to lose it all in 3months, plus several pounds of lean muscle. My workouts are incredible, I'm able to lift more than ever before without hurting anywhere, lol. I've suffered from knee problems from playing basketball throughout my youth, but I can run forever , do all kinds of ply metricsw/jumping, squat heavy weights and I have no pain in my knees at all. Before this I always had to run with a knee wrap and ice my knees after like an old lady. On top of all this, my memory has improved, my hair has gotten thicker even though it should have gotten thinner from the post pregnancy. I have a lot more energy...not to mention the sex drive. ;) It's too bad that HGH has gotten such a bad rap from baseball, in a way I can see why older athletes would want to use it. Shit if an athlete has a bad knee or a bad arm and there is a way to get it back to 100% functional I can see why they'd want to use it, that's a multimillion dollar investment that needs to be protected. If you like to workout or play sports but suffer from any type of injury, or even if you're not into sports/working out but have poor health of any type, I highly recommend giving it a try.

As a matter of fact I am from the US. Do you even know anything about HGH besides what you've heard about it with all the baseball shit on the news? It's not steroids, big difference buddy. It's also completely legal, has been for years, and was given to me by my doctor.

Again, HGH is not steroids. There are a few different types of HGH, one of those which includes testosterone which I obviously don't take. Have you ever scene me in person? I look 100% female and those who know me I'm sure will all agree. ;)

I have a bunch of friends that use it, but they all buy it at the gym. I'd love to give it a try myself if I could find a dr to give me a legit script for it.

d-null 08-01-2008 12:18 PM

funny reading some replies here and no wonder the governments get away with the bullshit they can pull when people just listen to snippets of garbage from the media and then believe the hysteria

haha, OMG HGH IS STEROIDS man that is so sad it isn't even laughable

anyways, the Hgh sounds interesting, the big drawback I always thought about it would be that once you start, it might not be wise to stop, as hormones tend to have feedback mechanisms that might be hard to get restarted again

Hgh stimulating hormones such as Sermorelin are intriguing, the future might be in those areas once they figure it all out

what dosage are you on and how do your joints feel on it?

maalox 08-01-2008 12:21 PM

I saw a show about hgh,it was about an older guy in his 60's he looked pretty damn good!
I think he was on testosterone replacement therapy also.

HGH is human growth hormone. I have a lot of friends that have taken it. you can most definetly take it as a steroid, but your right, a doctor can prescribe HGH in low doses to people for pharmaceutical therapy.

Same with testosterone. In most cases people take it as a steroid, but if your body produces a low about of t-cell, then you can get a Rx for a rub on cream containing Testim

you can buy "HGH complex" at Vitamin World. i took 2x the recommended dosage for a cycle and did a great job.

tony286 08-01-2008 12:40 PM

I worked with a girl that was in her forties and looked like she was in her early 30's. The key she said was hgh, she was also a hardcore lifter. She said it got rid of her small pouch is was getting, she felt wonderful all the time. The downside was its expensive to be on.

I saw that in the vitamin store also, and asked the owner about it. He said that was a good product, but what I'm taking is 100x better. You might want to check it out if you like the HGH complex.

glad to hear that that worked out for you, but real Hgh is a hormone that must be injected for it to work (although there is research into other delivery methods, but as it stands now the only realistic way to take Hgh is by injection, usually multiple times per week)

Yes, for men most of the time they prescribe that combo.

Robbie 08-01-2008 12:53 PM

I've been using HGH for a year and a half now. Awesome shit. I don't use it like a crazy person. But the effects are incredible.

And "No" you can't "use it as a steroid" It's NOT an anabolic steroid at all. But you sure as hell can stack it with steroids and get ripped like a mo-fo. Check out Stallone in his 60's. Guy is in fantastic shape. Or Mick Jagger. 65 years old with ripped abs. Or hell, most any of the "leading man" type Hollywood stars or "leading lady" actresses. HGH coupled with steroid use has been an open secret for decades in Hollywood.

A lot of people are misinformed about HGH and Testosterone and Steroids. Not all steroids are for bulking you up. They are also used for ripping down and getting lean. When you do them "crazy" like body builders that's how they get all that muscle to show. They bulk up all year and get "fat" then a few weeks before a contest they go on a lean cycle of different type steroids to get ripped and shredded.

A "normal" person could take FAR less than the insane amounts that those bodybuilders use and get in great shape.

Yes, that's what I do. In the begining I tried it out once a week when I went in for my diet shots/vitamin b shots that were all given to me by a nurse. Eventually I decided to buy my own supply and do the injections myself at home. I take one shot every other day. The idea of sticking myself with a needle freaked me out a little bit at first, but they showed me how to do it properly and it it's a very small needle, completely painless.

I take 10 cc's every other day. I was told that if you take too much, or take it too frequently you can get very bloated. I actually had the same concern about what would happen if/when I stopped taking it and voiced that to my doctor. He told me that there has been research which shows that there are no negative effects, and in fact that the hormones will stay in your system for up to an entire year. My Dad confirmed this also, he was taking it about 10-15 years ago and he said when he stopped he still felt the benefits for about a year afterwards. As for my joints, it's honestly like some kind of miracle. I had actually given up running altogether because the pain was that bad, knee braces, ice, motrin and all. I have to be very careful in weight lifting, I'm restricted to only certain exercises and I always had to do several warm up routines before I even started lifting. I'm not lying when I say my joints now feel like when I was a kid, 15-19 years old when I was at my peak.

PR_Glen 08-01-2008 01:41 PM

if its that safe and that beneficial why aren't they giving it to everyone? why aren't they putting it in the water? It's because they don't have any idea what the long term affects are for these things and usually when you are messing with hormones the longterm affects are severe.

Just because a doctor prescribes it doesn't mean it is safe, i'm sure heath ledger's pill collection was all doctor prescribed shit. If you are using it for therapeutic reasons i'm sure its great, but taking it for your abs? or so you can up your bench press? NOT WORTH IT!

My doctor stopped prescribing HGH & is now pushing Sermorelin... it's a bit too early for me to consider giving it a shot since its so expensive and HGH is already proven & roughly the same price.

A month of Sermorelin therapy will run you around 400-500 as well...

I'm all for HRT/TRT though, even in women... it is amazing if done correctly with bio-identical hormones... not that fucking drug company crap that ends up making things worse.

Since drug companies can't patent bio-identical hormones, there is no incentive in manufacturing or promoting their use... that's why barely anyone really knows what HRT/TRT is... there's no financial backing behind it :(

You may want to try doing a little research before assuming..you know what they say about assuming. ;) They don't give it to everyone because it's pretty expensive. I'm not taking it for my abs, hon. I'm taking it exactly for the long term benefits, I want to be as healthy as possible in my later years. Also, I'm much more familiar with HGH, the benefits and so on. My Dad started taking it about 15 years ago, it's been around for a while.
But with the way the media has presented it through all the baseball scandals I might understand why you have a certain perception about what HGH is.

HGH has absolutely NOTHING to do with a bench press. You need to educate yourself on it. The U.S. govt. (that would be the same ones that bug our phones, read our email, and now take our laptops at the border) DECIDED to make a lot of things "controlled substances" emphasis on the word "control"

Go to Europe. You buy testosterone, steroids, and HGH over the counter just like aspirin.

Just do a quick google and educate yourself a little on the subject. You'll be amazed.

don't you grow a big forehead and hands etc on that stuff?

JP-pornshooter 08-01-2008 02:13 PM

HGH = human growth hormone = testosterone
you can call it many names but in the end it is testosterone, either directly or a product which makes your body produce testosterone "naturally".
and yes women do produce testosterone naturally without growing beards but look at the faces of some of the female powerlifters/bodybuilders, typically the jaw is a telltale..

Are you saying that you're using 10 iu's every other day? Holy shit! I use 1 iu every day...And I have read that body builders use 10 to 20 iu's a day but...damn.

What I do is take an insulin syringe and fill it with bacterioloigal water. There are 10 markings on the syringe. Then I inject that into the vial of 10 iu HGH powder. After mixing, I withdraw to the first mark on the syringe. Effectively giving me 1 iu of HGH.

Is that what you mean that you do?

You are incorrect. You need to do some research into what you are saying. I use BOTH HGH and testosterone. Not even close. And yes, bodybuilders definitely abuse test, hgh, and anabolics.

But when you actually read a bit and educate yourself you will be surprised at how many people ARE using HGH and testosterone. Why get old if you don't have to? Why feel like shit if you don't have to?

The govt. tries to make all of us believe some stupid shit. They made steroids and hgh and testosterone ILLEGAL to force us to have to go to doctors and pay exorbitant amounts for it.

Think about it...right now if you are a man you are walking around FULL of testosterone. Put it in a bottle and now you're carrying a "controlled substance" that will get you worse prison time than heroin.

Get a doctor to prescribe it and pay out the ass to a overpriced drug company and you're "legal" again. :pimp

Injection w/needle. It's human growth hormone.

HGH is injected subcutaneously (just under the skin) using a tiny insulin needle.
Testosterone is injected intramuscularly. With a big ass 1 1/2 inch long needle.
Neither one hurts. And I was always scared shitless of needles. The benefits are damn near the fountain of youth. Again...look at Stallone in his 60's. He abuses it.

But look at Brad Pitt, George Clooney, or actresses like Jennifer Anniston or even better 67 year old Raquel Welch (who looks absolutley gorgeous) People in Hollywood have always used this. I'm 47 years old. And my grandmother was a hairdresser. So my brothers and I would get our hair cut at her beauty salon. While waiting we would read whatever trash magazines were around.

And I remember very vividly reading about Hollywood stars going to their Swiss doctors for Human Growth Hormone and how it was the secret to their youthful looks. And that would be the early 1970's.

No, there are a few different types of HGH. Many beautiful and non-disfigured actresses and models take HGH, I wouldn't compare them to female powerlifters/bodybuilders that are all roided out. Again, I would encourage you to do some research on HGH because you have a complete misconception of what it is and if you're into longevity and health then you will realize that there are only benefits when taken properly.
