Jesus man. When you start with a negative hypothesis you will usually find it.

You had an agenda before you looked. You should try searching with an open mind and honestly assess it. But if your mind is made up, then so be it. To each his own.

all i wanted to illustrate is not that it was bad... but that HGH wasnt something that was guaranted to be 100% safe and guaranteed to be harmless in the long run.... Was I unlucky and ended up on kook websites? MAybe.... but id be curious to see any sources saying that taking 10cc of HGH every once in a while is 100% safe long term...

Using your logic, you can say the same thing about Aspirin, Coca Cola, Driving, Crossing the street, etc.

That was the point Robbie was making.

The 10cc was corrected by Noe, as a mistype. But I'd be curious to see if 100 aspirins every once in awhile is 100% safe long term too. :)

how can you ever find that? the technology is not even that old... hgh used to have to be extracted from cadavers and that wasn't even that long ago

do you use a cell phone? do you have sources saying that talking on your cell phone is 100% safe long term??

I don't remember waking up at 19 sore as hell from playing basketball with my friends.

I did starting in my 30's. Proper diet, working out, and HRT/TRT can do wonders. In this day and age of 80% of Americans are obese, I find it curious why you would go on negatively in a thread where the majority of people in it are doing their damndest NOT to be a part of that 85%.

How do you find a good one who sees women? I know that is probably a dumb question, but right now, I don't have a doctor that will even consider it as an option, let alone refer me to someone.

selena, dr mark gordon in LA treats women & was recommended to me by dr crisler.

i also recommend picking up this book http://www.amazon.com/Natural-Hormon...23915&sr= 8-2

if you are pre or post menopausal bio-identical hormone replacement therapy is exactly what you want... careful w/ the hack docs that want to prescribe you other things besides bio-identical hormones... that is why HRT has such a bad rap among women, some of those drugs are very harmful to women

depending on if you're going for testosterone or hgh (or both)

the bloodwork is basically free if you have medical insurance, if not expect to pay around 800 bucks in tests

to consult w/ a dr like dr crisler i beleive it was around $150

injectable testosterone costs around $90 bucks for a 20 week supply at 100mg a week

growth hormone on the other hand will run you around 400-500 a month which is why most people don't use it

Second... its true that i didnt waste 2 hours researching the subject so I can let you know whether you should or not continue to use HGH.. by all means... do what you want :thumbsup All im saying is, after clicking couple of links related to the subjects, all seems to claim that the long term effects arent known and they may be a danger... You say they are wrong? fine.. im not the one using it..

BTw, im curious, did they tell you in College not to do research using Google? Because that is funny... as much as saying that HGH isnt recommended more for young people because it cost too much..

You know what, I have to apologize because I came off a bit catty in that post. I'm just honestly amazed that the way you did your research now (after clicking a couple of links)is the way that most people in this country find out "facts". Misinformation in the US is an epidemic that has got to be the reason that Bush has been in office for two terms and the country is in the state that it is now. It's pretty sad when you think about it actually. Has anybody seen that movie Idiocracy? That movie is kind of funny, but it also has a sad truth to it. But to answer your question, no, I have never been told by any professors in any research classes, or any text that I have ever read in research classes, or even by professional researchers that I know, that Google should not be utilized as a tool for research. Although they all kind of turn their noses up at google, lol. It's how you use Google and the Internet to find out facts. Learning just even the basics about research methods/sources, etc, and a little about statistics, you'll be surprised at how your perception of what you read and see on tv changes.

I think you're misunderstanding what he's saying or I'm mis-reading what you're saying. Anthony was pointing out that at 19 he didn't have pain in the morning after playing sports. BUT as he got older he did. As do most people. BUT he is saying that by properly using testosterone he has regained the ability to feel and do the things he could do as a younger man.

HGH is primarily prescribed to kids with pituitary tumors and other pituitary related problems to help them grow and develop normally

it is prescribed to children as well as adults with growth hormone deficiency

what you need to understand is that as you age, your hormone balance changes... growth hormone levels drop, testosterone levels drop (men / andropause), estrogen levels drop (women / menopause)... it continues as you get older and your quality of life begins to diminish

there are other factors that can cause this to happen to people at any age... even otherwise healthy 20 year olds (head trauma, tumors, adrenal fatigue)

it has already been proven that supplementing the body with these hormones to keep them in the HIGH reference ranges DRASTICALLY improves ones quality of life... from emotional to physical benefits

hormones are HUGE in regards to age and well being for men & women

like any drug they all have potential side effects however you have to remember that these are hormones that are ALREADY found in the human body, the goal with HRT is to supplement them to optimal levels

AND MOST IMPORTANTLY

PHARMACEUTICAL COMPANIES CANNOT PATENT BIO-IDENTICAL HORMONES THAT IS WHY YOU DON'T HEAR OF BIO IDENTICAL HORMONE REPLACEMENT THERAPY AS MUCH AS YOU HEAR ABOUT EVERY OTHER DRUG OUT THERE.... THEY CANT PROFIT FROM IT!

Right on the nose Robbie. I had my first MMA fight at 38 years old. Against a 24 year old. He beat the shit out of me, but I wouldn't have thought of doing that at 30! :)

Good news is I won my next fight, 7 months later. I'm out right now due to a shoulder injury, but nothing is more satisfying for me than choking or tapping out someone almost half my age. :)

You and I must have been on the same diet plan, lol. If people don't understand what happens when you g out then they would most definitely get you an ambulance. I haven't done that stuff or anything else, except for smoking weed which I stopped a year ago. I always thought weed was ok because it was natural and better than drinking or smoking cigarettes, but I've realized that it was holding me back in business/career and many other aspects of my life.

Diet? Apples, Macintosh, Mitsubishis, doves, yeah, that was one hella of a diet. :)

You saw me what last week? I was 240lbs. Imagine me at 160lbs. It's scary.

Robbie 08-01-2008 09:57 PM

I'm hoping for the blackmarket hookup so I don't have to over-pay. :) I did the doctor routine for a few years. Finally after getting laughed at by all the guys at the gym for paying 5x what they paid...I started ordering straight from europe. Over there they just walk into the store and buy what they please.

Here's a good one for ya....I usually go down to Mexico at least once a year to a swingers resort just to party for a week or so and get away from everything.

But I don't like missing out on taking my testosterone. Unfortunately, here in the United States of Govt. Control...testosterone is a controlled substance. :(

So what I do is when I get to Mexico, I stop at the pharmacy right there in the airport and buy some sustanon test RIGHT OVER THE COUNTER on my way to pick up my baggage and grab a taxi.

No need to travel with it to other countries, it's everywhere and legal. Only here in the "land of the free" does the govt. try to control our entire lives.

I agree.. and trust me, i know how to research properly... I wouldnt call myself clicking couple of links "research" tho... I thought couple of quotes from doctors would be enough to illustrate my point that this drug isnt a sure bet, especially long term... but if those were only marginal opinions or deceitful websites... than its good news for you :thumbsup

Ahhh, yeah. A small percentage get headaches. Mine were pretty intense, enough for me to stop. As Hgh was the new variable in my HRT, I attested the headaches to it, and after doing some research asking friends on it, then asking my Doctor about it, I was given that info. As you can read in this thread, I'm the only one to complain about it.

My German Shepard Jake would probaby recipricate if you fucked him in the ass...and I have to warn you, he's hung. So it may hurt. You may want to stick with my chihuahua. :1orglaugh:1orglaugh:1orglaugh

Antonio you're right. It was a pretty good discussion! Especially for a "non-porn" discussion. A lot more interesting than the: "I saw a cloud shaped like a butterfly" or "I'm eating this for dinner" threads that are all over the place. :)

yeah i hear you man, how much testosterone do you take a week? if you get a prescription (which shouldn't be hard) you can buy a bottle for around 90 bucks at cvs/walgreens... 200mg / 10ml

all of the hookups i had on black market shit ended up stopping when all of those labs started getting busted late last year... thankfully i have a prescription now :)

Wait until those cancer cells in your mammary glands develop and grow out of control.

tony286 08-02-2008 05:09 PM

If you abuse HGh at pro bodybuilders levels and you have the risk for cancer in your dna.In theory it can speed that up ie Dennis Newman, he could been the biggest thing to take pro bodybuilding to mainstream. The guy looked like superman, got leukemia and it was over.

Pleasurepays 08-02-2008 05:11 PM

there is a MASSIVE difference between "use" and "abuse"

thats like saying "keep drinking a small glass of wine each evening with dinner and watch your liver shut down"

I just use 250 mg a week. Nothing crazy. And black market is $50 or less for a 10 ml vial Even less if you buy in bulk. Even less than that if you just happen to be in any country other than the U.S. and walk into any drug store and buy it over the counter lol

I often wonder if one day in the not too distant future and with the population of the U.S. aging (isn't our population on average older than other countries? Less kids + long life) we will end up a nation of pasty faced out of shape middle aged wimps. And meanwhile, all the other countries in the world will end up with a population of strong vibrant peope.

:( I just don't understand it. Hell, if I were in charge of the military I would make it MANDATORY that our troops were all on steroids. I want an army that kicks ass. But I guess having total and complete control of our lives in every way is more important to these govt. motherfuckers.

Somewhere the founding fathers are rolling in their graves. They tap our phones. They tell us everything we do all day long. From what we can watch, read, eat, smoke, It's fucking ridiculous.

mynameisjim 08-02-2008 08:24 PM

I think to start that in your 30's is a bit foolish. If you plan on living to 80, you shouldn't take anything for 50 years. And I doubt you will want to stop. There's really no substance you can take for several decades, especially a compound with such profound effects on virtually every system in your body, that won't have some negative side effects after that period of time.

If I was in my 50's and feeling terrible, I would give it a try. But in my 30's or 40s...too risky. But everyone has the freedom to do as they choose.

definitely, everyone is different... someone thats 30 might have lower than optimal levels of certain hormones than another man that is 60 or vice versa, it all depends on the person

listen to your body... if you're feeling depressed, tired / exhausted, finding it difficult to concentrate, harder to lose weight, harder to get a better nights sleep, a lower than optimal sex drive, etc... you might want to have a closer look at your bodies endocrine system

testosterone, growth hormone, estrogen, etc... those are all hormones that are FOUND in the human body. taking any of these BIO-IDENTICAL hormones at measured amounts to keep your bodies hormone balance at optimal (not steroidal/abusive) levels is the key

ie 1 glass of wine a day vs a whole bottle

if the human reference range for testosterone is 400 - 1000, would you rather be at 450... weak, fat & miserable or at 950 & feel awesome? just because you're in range doesn't mean you're OK

like i said before, if you feel 100% fine then don't touch it... for others that don't - its a quality of life thing :thumbsup

I would have to disagree with you and ask what your knowledge is of HGH, and where you heard that there are negative side affects after several decades. According to your theory that there's no substance that you can take over a long period of time without eventually having negative side effects, then what about vitamins? To me, HGH is extremely comparitive to vitamins. Of course the dosage that I take is much less than somoene in their 50's, but the reason that I'm taking it is so that I can have optimal health not only now, but more importantly for those later years.
