Any tea drinkers out there?

I only recently started drinking tea at night and its pretty soothing before bed. I used to go to bed at 4-5am now im getting to bed at 12-1 pretty good stuff.

Anyone else drink it? Favorites?

Red Rose is nice for a basic Pekoe; no real aftertaste. Ceylon are also quite nice.

..no wonder people think I'm British.

I'm addicted to Tazo Chai Lattes at the moment. Picked up 10 boxes of the stuff at the store today.

I love red tea (Pu Erh), coca tea and before bed I drink a one that consists of black tea threads blended with linden flowers and lemon balm leaves.

shekinah 02-12-2008 08:01 PM

I'm more of a coffee drinker but I do drink organic green tea when I have tummy problems:)

longbrick 02-12-2008 08:04 PM

Nothing beats tea. Having a cup of Earl Grey with slice of lemon right now. :thumbsup

Bdiddy 02-12-2008 08:04 PM

Oolong and Jasmine...Find a chinese store and get the teaball so you can ditch the bags and get the leaves.

The bomb!

I LOVE tea. All kinds of tea. Favorites include: sweet black with lime juice, Earl Grey, and Thai iced tea.

After Shock Media 02-12-2008 10:30 PM

I too am a tea nut. Mostly loose leaf tea's myself. All sorts and typically I am with a black tea with cream and honey in the morning, white tea or green tea during the day, and some assorted herbals for late night or before bed.

Some hand rolled white oolong tea tips or dragons tears green tea has been my top choice lately.

I do have tea balls as well as unbleached empty tea bags that I can stock up when I travel. Yes tea bags serve a purpose on occasion, for travel and for herbals.

Fap 02-12-2008 10:31 PM

Anyone a fan of bubble tea?

needlive 02-12-2008 10:42 PM

Southern style, is just really sweet iced tea. They have it in the McDonald's in NY. $1 for a big cup of it.

I have a friend who's family have an asian food market and they have bubble tea there. It's sweet and I love it. I'm not the biggest fan of the tapioca bubbles, but the tea is so good I can get over it and do chew a few.

Ya I realized how that sounded after the fact. Then come to think of it I recall when at the kitchen supply place I remember asking the person behind the counter if she had tea balls and if so where?

I know its all in the mind but now I find it funny and yes they are sterling silver. I got rid of the stainless steel balls.
