The same people posting in here are also threatening that "other people" will spoof Child Pornography spams and make them look as if they're coming from Grant's site on my network.

Nice way to put an innocent host in the middle guys. If it happens, you read it here first.

Want me to cancel him as a hosting client? Show me a paper trail or somehow substantiate the fraud. When I confronted my hosting client he seemed genuinely interested in working things out with any disgruntled parties... so I sent an ICQ message back to the people who were complaining that he never answers their ICQs or phone calls guaranteeing them that they could speak with him.

It seems all they wanted to do was complain because when I handed them the opportunity on a silver platter to speak with Grant they NEVER even returned my ICQ messages or contacted Grant (to my knowledge). If you wanted him cancelled as a hosting client you disqualified yourself when I presented an opportunity for mediation and resolution and you dissapeared.

As I've said all along, I don't want any cheaters on my network. Life is too short and there's enough hosting clients out there. However, I can't just respond to idle threats - no matter how nasty - I need something more so that this can at least be judicious if I'm going to cancel an account.

And what exactly is the point of trying to reason with someone that wont reason with you at all? I called him he lied, i wrote him emails, he didnt respond, I icq'd him, he laughed at me. I called his host, you.and he lied to you apparently cause he isnt responding to my icq's or the others he has ripped off. You sit here and say you left the ball in our court and that grant is ready and willing to talk this through and fix? then why the fuck isnt he answering phonecalls? answering icq's? answering emails? do YOU think it is possible BRAD, that Grant is blowing smoke up your ass passifying you for the time being hoping this goes away. I know it is hard to prove without a contract... but I'm just looking for something substantive that a reasonable person would understand and agree to. If nobody that was allegedly 'taken' has a contract then the whole group of you have learned a good lesson. I myself have been taken in the past and admittedly I've done business without contracts and had that come back to bite me in the butt. When I say taken, I mean I've really been screwed... several times, many tens of thousands of dollars.

Perhaps someone has ICQ transcripts since everything is logged. And what about Grant saying to me that he would speak with anyone upset in an effort to resolve the situation? If there are issues then perhaps everyone needs to come back to the table and resolve them if that is possible. If you all are saying he never delivered then I would assume delivery would fix the situation. I am wondering if he delivered but somehow the problem people are having is that they weren't able to make money with the traffic.

I've learned a lot of lessons.. including that which seems to good to be true usually is. Nothing has ever come easy to me. Patience is important and I am constantly reminded that there is always another deal in case something seems suspicious or unreasonable. Regardless of the outcome of this particular situation there is obviously a lot that everyone has learned from their experience. Whatever you do don't repeat the same mistake twice. If in fact everyone has been scammed out of thousands I'm really sorry for you guys.

If the designer of the Vulcan site wants to contact me and substantiate that is his design and that he never did business with Grant (and possibly re-skinned it for him) then I'll contact him and have it taken down or changed. Satisfactory?

I'm not green and I need a bit more to go on. However unlikely there just might be another side to this story. I've bought designs from artists before at a steep discount just so I could use them as a shell for a site. So, the artist can contact me personally and I'll make sure that their situation get's resolved properly. On the traffic side of things if we're going to be airing this in a public forum perhaps sharing some more specific details would be appropriate.


I believe hosts have a responsibility to be judicious in making decisions that affect their client's livelihood. I'm not a court of law and I don't need the kind of evidence that one might require... but I do need something compelling to make a decision with. It's only fair - if you were my hosting client you would sure as hell hope that I handle things fairly if you had someone pointing the finger at you.

I'm about to go have dinner with my wife over at Grandma's house.. lol.. so if this thread grows I won't be able to come back to it until tonight. I never would have joined the thread except an earlier post mentioned SinHost and suggested I should have cancelled the client. I can't not respond to that.

First: I see a lot of new people posting here on GFY with no profile and nothing substantiating who they are. Everybody knows who I am and now that you've pointed the finger at Grant's site everybody knows who he is too.

Second: Show me your ICQ transcripts. I'm not complaining but neither you or the other party followed up with me to reiterate that you were still being ignored. The other guy that you put in touch with me on ICQ talked with me quite a bit... which was cool... then when I finally got ahold of Grant he said he wanted to talk to him. Well, I ICQ'd this guy and never once heard back.

Third: If he's a piece of shit let's out him properly here on the board. I'm not defending him, I'm being impartial until I have something more substantial to go on.

Fourth: I don't see anyone here posting details about their transactions. What was everyone buying? Exit traffic? Email addresses to spam? Blind link traffic? If you want to out him properly in a forum to get a resolution you need to be more specific.

Fifth: what do you all want? If I take his account down he'll simply move somewhere else. Are you all saying you want your money back or if you get delivery of 'whatever' is the issue dropped?

Show me that he's done something wrong and I'll boot him off my network. Let's see the transcripts, emails - publicly or privately. Also, who are you all and what sites do you run? It's easy to be anonymous and fling shit.

Lastly, what the fuck kind of credibility and benefit of the doubt am I supposed to give to someone that is threatening a spoofed CP spam campaign trying to indict my hosting network?

Well i was not the one to come on here telling everyone he hosted with you. I kept my mouth shut until i saw this thread. and i never once threatend CP spoofing spam here either. I DID however mention to you over the telephone to not be surprised if it does happen since he appears to have screwd enough people to piss someone off.CP was never mentioned as i recall. I told you directly that i only got ripped for 250 and i learned my lesson, others however got ripped for more and are willing todo some more damaging things. And on the other hand I talk to Grant every few days and he's never scammed me or attempted to cheat us, so I don't know him as a cheater.

A well known mainstream design studio developed http://www.vulcan.com. The well known 2advanced Studios , has too many ppl ripping his stuff. Too much to handle. Check them out for yourself. They have top notch work. I'm sorry, but I don't think any designer would approve anything like this.
