Do Americans have any idea what will happen if Bush does NOT bomb Iran??
1. Iran will develop nuclear bomb(s) 2. Al Qaeda or Hezbollah will be given the bomb 3. One or more US cities will be nuked :warning |
Sorry doubt it,
If the US bombs Iran they will be BIG BIG trouble for the world as a whole. |
and why would anyone want to bomb the USA?
i mean did they do something to deserve such an act? i dont believe so. |
Ask yourself what fear ended the cold war.

Al Qaeda has already stated their intention to do it. |
I hope they do get a bomb and I hope they do nuke a city, please oh please let it be San Francisco.
Maybe then we can purge this country of the liberal cancer that infests it. |
what about if the people of Iran just overthrow their govt? would that help??? get a nice western/democratic govt...
|
probably not. I doubt that anyone is going to use nuclear weapons in the near future. It would be then end of the world as we know it. besides, why would anyone nuke a country with their own nukes and so much military force? Remember the cold war? Iran has no methods to deliver them to the US anyways, they are too far away.

If those people you are attacking wanted to, another world war could happen, just as the first one started. And dont look up on how it started before you post. |

When it comes to the safety of my homeland and its people I become very protective and extremist. I have fought for this country and I probably will have to do so again to protect the freedom of my children and grand children. I dont care what others reasons are for hating or attacking this country I want them dead. |

Unfortunately if the US wants to save face then they do have to be the bigger person, so to speak. If the US was hit, there will be world support in whatever they do. Look at 9/11? It was a blank check that Bush managed to shit on. The middle eastern countrys generally only agree on their hatred for the west. That's about it. It makes no sense to not have the rest of the sane world pissed at you too. Hell if the US played it's cards right they could probably get the other Arab countries to align against Iran, instead of solidifying them. But not if they attack them without proper provocation Unfortunately if you wanna be the "Good Guy" then you have to take it on the chin, otherwise you become as bad as them. No one for a second thinks that Iran has good intentions, far from it. But it has to be handled right. |

That is why so many of them who have never been anywhere near the military -- and will never go near it even as their wars are endangered by a lack of volunteers -- have a monomanical obsession with military glory, with constant displays of how "resolute" and "courageous" they are, with notions of forced "submission" and "humiliation" of their opponents (just take notice of how central a role those concepts play in neoconservative "arguments"), and with depicting those who oppose the wars they cheer on as "cowards" (even when the cowards in question are decorated Marines with 30 years of service).
John Dean and Bob Altemeyer have both documented this dynamic as clearly and convincingly as can be. People who feel weak and vulnerable crave strong leaders to protect them and to enable them to feel powerful. And those same people crave being part of a political movement that gives them those sensations of power, strength, triumph and bravery -- and they need a strong, powerful, masculine Leader to enable those feelings. And they will devote absolute loyalty to any political movement which can provide them with that. That is just the basic dynamic of garden-variety authoritarianism, and it is what the right-wing, pro-Bush political movement is at its core -- far, far more than it is a set of political beliefs or geopolitical objectives or moral agendas. All of it -- the obsessions with glorious "Victory" in an endless string of wars, vesting more and more power in an all-dominant centralized Leader, the forced submission of any country or leader which does not submit to the Leader's Will, the unquestioning Manichean certainties, and especially the endless stigmatization of the whole array of Enemies as decadent, depraved and weak -- it's just base cultural tribalism geared towards making the followers feel powerful and strong and safe. http://www.salon.com/opinion/greenwa...ult/index.html A nice long article explaining why actual war heros and soldiers are cowards in conservative eyes (Kerry, Murtha, Carter) and rich momma's boys and hollywood tough guys (Bush, Reagan) and heros. This is a sick movement and a very real threat to American democracy. It's amazing to me that people like Splum and Daddy Halbucks - paranoid, stupid and oblivious - exist in such numbers in our society. I guess if you didn't have a bottom 50% on the IQ scale, you couldn't have a top 50%. My only concern is that the median seems to keep sliding downward. |

2.Al Qaeda or Hezbollah - They were invented by Bush Administration. Why ? Because this way USA entered (il)Legally in Afghanistan and Irak. Why ? We all know USA use a lot of oil and without oil USA would have BIG problems. 3.No US cities will be nuked.USA it's now an Empire even if they don't want to say or show it. Nothing happens without their confirmation. Now you can sleep calmly: you're not gonna be nuked. |
