I Died in my Dream last night - any idea what it means?
 

I had a very vivid dream last night where I went to grab my cell phone from my car and in the car next to mine was 4 guys. They asked me what I was doing and then pulled out guns. I started to run and one guy shot me in the back but I kept on running. Finally they caught up to me and all I remember was a shotgun pointed at my face and chest. Then BAM! I was dead. I could actually feel the rounds going into my body.

It was a pretty creepy dream and I woke up sweating my ass off. Any dream interpreters out there? Has anyone else ever had a dream where they were killed? I alway heard that if you died in your dreams then you died in real life but apparently that's not true.

What happened after the bullets went in.... did u experience any thing after the death or did u wake up at that point?

Ya..I had a wacky dream one night and I got shot in the chest by some crazy lady down on the beach..but I didnt die in the dream.I ended up in standing at a train station barefoot...and then I woke up..sooo..that happened a month ago and Im still alive..Im sure youll be ok. Did you drink or anything last night before you went to bed? Sometimes the chemical imbalance causes weird dreams too.

I've had dreams where I die. Its no big deal, kind of creepy cool actually.

But there will be no births here in the near future nor have there been in the past.

I tend to enjoy bloody violent dreams about stabbing and things though.

Stress related/multiple workers(or friends) related stress cause dreams of this nature. Doing something as siple as reaching for your cell phone in your car means in real life you either did something you thought no one would notice, or have any problems with but now feel sub-consciensly guilty about.

Either by someone you know like a friend, boss, worker, relative, etc. I say this Because in your dream you didn't die, you where killed; so there's a big difference.

This obviously roots back to problems with your mother, did she ever shoot you with a shotgun for getting the phone? :Graucho

I actually did continue with my dream but it wasn't very coherant. I remember getting pissed because I just died but couldn't really recall what had happened. My dream then jumped to a different sequence where I was alive again.

the other night I dreamed about the "2257 police" coming into my business and taking everything with them, including me for questioning. no joke. scared the shit outta me. it seemed like the dream took days, I even remember having 3 meals. I dreamt it the same day I listened to that 2257 legal radio show.

I actually had a similar dream about three years ago. I remember it really well. I was stabbed with a huge knife. I could feel the blade entering my heart and I almost jumped out of bed with a big pain in the chest. I'm still alive, so I don't think you have anything to be worried about :winkwink:

my dreamlife is 2 advanced to dicuss... lets just say when i dream i can deciede if I want to wake up or dream something else!

(I have died before in a dream and actually brought myself back to life beucase I did not want to die....!)

heeh but I would focus on the part of the dream where you are running... could be ur getting up in age and still not achieved some of your main goals...
