I had a dream in which I died a loong time ago. I was standing next to my house, and a volcano erupted. I saw this huge wall of ash and fire coming towards me, and tried to run but couldn't move. I braced myself and BAM. I felt all the air in my lungs escape, and then felt like I had been hit by a bus.

Then I woke up. I've always looked at dying in dreams as a reminder that you only get one chance at life, so you'd better make damn good use of it.

i've had a bunch of dying dreams, i think it's cuz i play too many games though. once i had one where i was in N64 goldeneye going through the first level then a bunch of bad guys rushed out unexpectedly and killed me, at this point i realized i was dreaming and got back to life and killed everyone then put some shades on and fucked some chicks.

it's wierd, everytime i die in my dream, i realize i am dreaming in my dream, so when i really do die will i think this was all a dream?

Sometimes I have dreams where I'll know I'm dreaming.. One comes to mind, I was driving down the road with a friend and I said "holy shit dude im dreaming, im gonna tell you about this tommorow but you wont believe me!"

Anyway, its interesting knowing your dreaming, it gave me alot more control over what I did in it.

Thats a trip. Ive had the same dream as you, not to every small detail obviously but similar. Feeling rounds hit your body in a dream is pretty intense. I know how it feels and scares me everytime I dream Im being shot. Ive died in many dreams Ive had.....They say its good luck so dont worry. They also say having your teeth fall out in a dream means death, and trust me Ive learned that first hand. It happend with my grandfather. Me, my sister and my two cousins had a dream that our teeth fell out and the next day he passed on. Pretty weird eh??

Same for me, few years ago someone (family member, friend, myself) died in my dreams almost nightly for 2 straight months.

And that was why.
