I Died in my Dream last night - any idea what it means? - GoFuckYourself.com

I had a very vivid dream last night where I went to grab my cell phone from my car and in the car next to mine was 4 guys. They asked me what I was doing and then pulled out guns. I started to run and one guy shot me in the back but I kept on running. Finally they caught up to me and all I remember was a shotgun pointed at my face and chest. Then BAM! I was dead. I could actually feel the rounds going into my body.

It was a pretty creepy dream and I woke up sweating my ass off. Any dream interpreters out there? Has anyone else ever had a dream where they were killed? I alway heard that if you died in your dreams then you died in real life but apparently that's not true.

Ya..I had a wacky dream one night and I got shot in the chest by some crazy lady down on the beach..but I didnt die in the dream.I ended up in standing at a train station barefoot...and then I woke up..sooo..that happened a month ago and Im still alive..Im sure youll be ok. I've had dreams where I die. Its no big deal, kind of creepy cool actually.

But there will be no births here in the near future nor have there been in the past.

I tend to enjoy bloody violent dreams about stabbing and things though.

Oy Vey!

Stress related/multiple workers(or friends) related stress cause dreams of this nature. Doing something as siple as reaching for your cell phone in your car means in real life you either did something you thought no one would notice, or have any problems with but now feel sub-consciensly guilty about.

Either by someone you know like a friend, boss, worker, relative, etc. I say this Because in your dream you didn't die, you where killed; so there's a big difference.

This obviously roots back to problems with your mother, did she ever shoot you with a shotgun for getting the phone?

I actually did continue with my dream but it wasn't very coherant. I remember getting pissed because I just died but couldn't really recall what had happened. My dream then jumped to a different sequence where I was alive again.

I actually had a similar dream about three years ago. I remember it really well. I was stabbed with a huge knife. I could feel the blade entering my heart and I almost jumped out of bed with a big pain in the chest. I'm still alive, so I don't think you have anything to be worried about

I had a dream in which I died a loong time ago. I was standing next to my house, and a volcano erupted. I saw this huge wall of ash and fire coming towards me, and tried to run but couldn't move. I braced myself and BAM. I felt all the air in my lungs escape, and then felt like I had been hit by a bus.

Then I woke up. I've always looked at dying in dreams as a reminder that you only get one chance at life, so you'd better make damn good use of it.

i've had a bunch of dying dreams, i think it's cuz i play too many games though. once i had one where i was in N64 goldeneye going through the first level then a bunch of bad guys rushed out unexpectedly and killed me, at this point i realized i was dreaming and got back to life and killed everyone then put some shades on and fucked some chicks.

it's wierd, everytime i die in my dream, i realize i am dreaming in my dream, so when i really do die will i think this was all a dream?

Sometimes I have dreams where I'll know I'm dreaming.. One comes to mind, I was driving down the road with a friend and I said "holy shit dude im dreaming, im gonna tell you about this tommorow but you wont believe me!"

Anyway, its interesting knowing your dreaming, it gave me alot more control over what I did in it.
