Start Creating TV Style Commercials To Promote Your Sites

Start making TV style commercials to advertise your sites. Small clips about 200 x 140 sized. 30, 60, 120 secs. Windows media, Quicktime, Real Media, MPG, etc. This system uses a cross platform architecture so everything will work.

I'm a partner with this company launching a cool new search technology in June deploying rich media ppc video advertising. Increases CTR's by 6 to 1.

Alligned with high volume search engines this will take site promotion to an all new level.

Great new way to drive traffic for mainstream and adult sites.

There will also be marketing opportunities for selling advertisers and earning on the revs generated on the network.

You can see how we're implementing it on Men.com right now.

TAMPA_TOKER 05-28-2004 09:50 PM

In production.

So for example on a PPC search in addition to context text links there will be a side panel with feature ads like Google does, except they will be broadcast through a video platform.

So on the adult search for example someone searches for Neriah Davis, her ppc link would pop along with a cool video displayed with all her site's features.

This one is going to be a monster money maker. The admin and sales panel modules are being setup and installed this weekend.

Can you add me to your ICQ Joe 123583718, I'm about to zip out for some coffee and a bite to eat and then I'll be back in an hour.

I'd like to discuss it with you further.

You can also do 360 rotations on it.

Click START and then go to clip 10 and put your mouse on the laptop and you can rotate it.

So an advertiser of sex toys for example could have potential customers search for toys and then that 360 would be displayed in the PPC frame and the customer could check out a toy with a 360 view then click right to the buy form or the site to see more toys.

SleazyDream 05-28-2004 10:02 PM

videos SHOULD be a sales pitch - it's how i used erotic stories 5 years ago

KRL 05-28-2004 10:04 PM

#2 is a good example of a TV style spot. Also # 8.

Odin88 05-28-2004 10:05 PM

Nice. Multimedia and communication are always the way of the future (with anything). The text internet is becomming boring and surfers are demanding more. This is one step in an evolution of multimedia changes that will drastically change the web in the next 10 years I would imagine.

You could also do something neat like a behind the scenes clip. Show the models featured in the galleries on your sites during their photo sessions. A professional looking video adds a lot of credibility and increase the likelihood of a buying decision.

All PPC style pricing so its all based on whatever is the highest bid for particular keywords.

Site owners will be able to make money also by placing these on their sites and providing search distribution traffic.

So its a win-win all the way around.

Its the next step in search.

Text links pop also. But broadband is now at 70% for business daytime users and is increasing up and up.

I'm convinced the majority of guys that buy memberships have broadband.

If you're still on 56K, I don't think you're much of a prospect anyway for an adult site.

The Truth Hurts 05-28-2004 10:29 PM

nothing makes me leave a site quicker than noise i didn't ask for.

This is true sounds like you got all aspects covered:thumbsup

torrey 05-28-2004 10:44 PM

Good stuff KRL, Im very impressed. :)

FlyingIguana 05-28-2004 10:50 PM

is the market ready to take this concept to its full potential? if advertisers get creative it could be an interesting way to increase sales per ad impressions.

SoundMan 05-28-2004 10:54 PM

at best it will have to use flash, so you have options such as no sound and so on.. look at yahoo. they have the "day after tomorrow" flash banner on there, that is the style i bet you will see.

HAPPYPEEKERS 05-28-2004 10:55 PM

I think that sounds like a great idea !

serious 05-28-2004 10:58 PM

won't people get irritated watching ads all the time, and waiting for them to load?

its where everything is heading though so its good to be on the ground floor

hmm your probably right, never really considered this

wish someone would collect some stats on it

A major downfall I see about this is the difficulty of penetrating the search engine market. With Google getting all the attention of going public, Yahoo with something new up their sleeves, and now Amazon launching it's new search engine, it's going to be a challnge to get the ball rolling.

I see huge potential with the idea though :thumbsup

they need to patent using video with search results. then sit around twiddling their thumbs and once the big companies start using it nail em.

well while loading you could have a teaser to try to catch the surfers attention. if you can accomplish that, they may wait that few seconds in anticipation.

slapass 05-28-2004 11:43 PM

it has to load and shoot off quickly if you want to catch them dutring a search. I just know myself but I don't stay on google for 15 seconds for it to load on the side when I search. just a heads up.

5 large ones are on board already.

smokingdawn 05-29-2004 12:47 AM

That is an awesome idea

Shoehorn! 05-29-2004 12:50 AM

Sounds cool, keep up updated. :thumbsup

Groove 05-29-2004 12:59 AM

Interesting technology...

But personally, I would stop using any search engine that
played video and audio without me requesting it.
