here's what I know so far.....

some guy named "Richard" claiming to be from GFY Hosting (which to the best of my knowledge doesn't exist anywhere), called my ex-wife last night about 11:30 pm.... the story was he needed to get ahold of me about some message I had (going through someone else of course) about "an emergency hosting issue".... he apparently sounded very upset because I had threatened to sue him.

1. I haven't figured out yet whether this guy is being played, or if he's the player.

2. My ex-wife is in no way, shape, or form connected to anything I do in any way. So how he got her phone number in the first place is very strange.

3. I certainly don't have any "emergency hosting" issues, since XFR is da bomb. So the story itself doesn't hold up at all.

4. What person reacts this way to someone passing a message for someone else threatening to sue, that isn't even a customer in the first place?

5. It's not like I'm hiding from anyone. The whole damn world knows where to find me. It's published right on my site. The scariest people I know.... the IRS and Child Support.... know exactly where I'm at. So...... ?

Okay.... so this morning.... this guy calls here. At 6:00am. I was asleep, so my girl answers the phone.... same story. He said he needed to get ahold of me about an "emergency hosting" issue and his name is "Richard" from GFY Hosting. When my girl tells him that there's no way I ever called him about anything, he gets pissed off, swears at her, and then hangs up.

Definately a stalker. But the odd thing is.... none of this adds up in anyway. None of it makes any sense. Like I said, if someone is trying to find me, it's no secret where I am. If it was someone playing this guy.... why? It doesn't help them, and it doesn't hurt me. So what's the point?


I'm checking around to see what I can discover, if anything. I'll post any results I get here.

While all of it is strange.... I think the strangest of all is how he got my ex-wife's phone number. That one I can't figure out at all. There is literally no connection to her in anything I do.

There was some guy who called our little friend at peer2peerporn.com from GFY making death threats. He seemed to know the guy's past, where he used to live etc...

weird phone calls suck. ive had a few over the years, but nothing quite like that.

so someone calls 'peempdog' claiming to be Quiet.

Someone calls Sly RJ and says he is from GFY too.

Now AMP is getting calls from someone claiming to be Rich.

no, I tried to *69 it when I got up a few minutes later, but it said, "This call was either out of your area or marked private", so I couldn't callback

Public records maybe? If someone has your name and knows what state you lived in, could they look up something like that and get her #?

I used to know a stalker. He tormented his ex-wife constantly. He genuinely believed that he was doing nothing wrong. Nothing you could do or tell him could stop him. These guys are seriously fucked in the head, be careful.

Whoever it was that just called here, said nothing, and felt the need to breath heavy....

If you and your ex owned property in her state , you could be traced through county records.

I have a 2nd line for my domains with an answering machine on.
After a few calls several years ago and the guy not saying anything but hello, I screen the calls..

my ex sister in law just called me back..... she said when he called last night that he said he was "Richard" from GFY.... and that the regular guy I talk to is in Cambodia right now, and that I had the number.

Is there a Richard in the house?
