Can any of you actually see the difference between what SexArt does compared to the rest of industry

Open question...

It's not like anything else, but can YOU see and appreciate the difference AND most importantly know how to market it?

ahoy 09-02-2012 01:34 PM

Yeah I see the difference...shot by someone that has an outdated vision of "cinema" and also doesn't understand shooting porn. I mean are you serious with some of the body angles and framing? So much man ass , shit is wack honestly. Go check out "farewell" in x-art, now that is how art and porn should blend.

Paul Markham 09-02-2012 02:12 PM

Give me a pass and I will let you know.

Very hard to nail if it's good or bad porn from the samples. Music is far too loud and the interaction between models seems poor.

The Porn Nerd 09-02-2012 02:16 PM

LOL Yes yes I see! I see! Ripping off the style of Fellucia Blow, ErosExotica, Bollywood-Nudes and Touch The Body. I see!! LOL

MetArt, XArt, all the 'arts': this business needs more of them BUT make sure the actual full-length videos live up to the glossy promos, which often times they do not. Just sayin'.

So yeah, I see. LOL

MaDalton 09-02-2012 02:20 PM

:Oh crap

SpicyM 09-02-2012 02:45 PM

I dont like the X art style but I absolutely hate those trying to copy that, like PassionHD and others.

The X Art guys tried to make it look so much sensual and special, that it actually gets boring and annoying after like 3 videos. Annoying music and perfect looking people, especially dudes ,that just reminds me typical (American) porn.

I cant stand the retarded sound tracks and video angles, including the stupid "oh yeah fuck me baby" phrases from the bitches.

I really want to know the answer...

So far it's being proven that only idiots without traffic or knowledge of the product are answering, so the question is still valid...

You asked a question in a condescending manner.

The only answers you are going to receive will be negative.

Perhaps you should learn how to ask a question that will receive positive replies.

To answer your question, no you have not done anything different, I had a look at your promo materials when the site was launched and felt it was a poor copy of x-art.

I will stick to promoting x-art, thanks. :thumbsup

The question was far from condescending; however, the content is.

You are SO wrong about how SexArt has 'not dont anything different' that I will ignore it. LOOK at our CONTENT. Not the same as X-Art or anyone else.

Please write a letter...I'm sure there are people lining up to take my place who DON'T know the product and/or aren't willing to ask this question on GFY.

Ayla_SquareTurtle 09-02-2012 03:13 PM

Agreed 100% with Mr Peabody. I may not be a bigshot but I have seen just about every site that exists on the inside and the outside.

Thanks Stefan :)

The thread is constructive despite the outcome...and no answer is wrong....but SexArt is NOT a copy of anything. So unless webmasters really see that and know the difference, it's frustrating and I'm trying to determine how to differentiate SexArt to webmasters so they can recognize. Market research. Let's hope GFY is still valid to get SOME constructive responses that will help us all make money.

Wait, what?

Let me get this straight, the content is condescending and the question isn't?

I have looked at the site and receive promo materials for it which are given a once over before usually deleting the emails.

How about you explain it to us then. For example, the following, how does this image draw the surfer in to actually want to see more?

http://www.sexart.com/media/slidesho...AB93F0BD3D.jpg

MaDalton 09-02-2012 03:48 PM

in case you ever hoped to see Humphrey Bogart screwing Ingrid Bergmann...

thats what i take from that

Wait, what?

Let me explain it. We are not pornography....we are REAL sex on cinematography steroids...do not attempt to take ONE photo (which is actually quite appealing) and answer the question posed.

Watch our videos. They are quite simply unique. If you have an argument with that, let's hear it.

NaughtyRob 09-02-2012 03:55 PM

In that case, wouldn't the target market want to see a more mature woman playing the role of Ingrid?

I believe he's referring to the quality/style of what SexArt is producing.

edgeprod 09-02-2012 04:06 PM

I wish this thread started with a different tone, because as a potential affiliate, I'd like to see some actual replies. Good luck, Myjah, on turning it around -- I'll be bookmarking it to check back on the outcome.

I'd like to give you guys a shot, from what I see. I think I can sell this.

i meant it a bit more metaphorically - but maybe you have a point

but i am just an innocent bystander here...

I appreciate your response. And negative or positive the responses are valid. However; I'm asking a legitimate question and will respond the same. SEXART is not a copy of anything...if this thread does nothing other than prove that, it served its purpose. I want webmasters to look at our actual video content. It's just simply amazing and cannot be compared to anything else.

I think the investment in resources is amazing and the ambition is there, but I'm not sure who is supposed to relate to "Hollywood Royale".

For example, and I'm not a big fan of porn, there are just a few types I can stand, without going into a long thing, there is a video of Larkin Love on Burning Angel that I really appreciate- even though it starts with a bang- and fizzles toward the end, it's just a little shit scene that people can instantly relate to.

This big breasted freak of a babe in to punk rock shows up at the door of this other tattoo freak who's rooming with a square. Along with Larkin is some guy who is geeky in a way and weird.

Long story short they fuck on the square girl's bed.

Maybe it's just Larkin's performance, the way she comes to the door, her sinister sexual aura, but the lust for her and her type is easy to grasp and get into.

What's ironic is that her clips4sale- the stuff she does on her own is pretty uninspiring.

So, Burning Angel- to some extent knows it's target audience (not me generally speaking) but they understand the sexual culture of the viewer.

How can your simple, horny 18 to however old visitor relate to your stories, that's what I think the art porn sites miss.

Naturally, they'll buy for the sake of buying ass and titties, but they probably would enjoy themselves more if they saw the girls in situations they can imagine themselves fucking them irl.

Mutt 09-02-2012 04:40 PM

Rob from FTV must be snickering at all this hullabaloo over this huge budget 'glamcore' fad - one dude, no lights, no makeup artist, probably makes those FTV magazine covers with Photoshop 3 or PaintShopPro

i admire X-Art very much, it's gorgeous photography and videos - does nothing for me though as porn. Obviously tons of people do like it as porn or they wouldn't be signing up in droves and rebilling.

Sly 09-02-2012 04:48 PM

I'm looking at it right now. It looks pretty interesting. Over the years, every time I run into something "different" my first reaction is to think it is too weird and will not sell. Two years later, I give said product a shot and make a killing on it. I have now taught myself to start trying "different" things and more often than not, they still pretty damn good. I shall give it a try.

PS I like uniforms.

Although I am on your affiliate mailing list, I have not seen any of the SexArt content in full so I can?t tell you if it differentiates from other sites.

From looking at the site from the outside, I personally feel it?s just another x-art site. Even the name sounds the same. Perhaps the name is the problem. If you want to differentiate yourself from another, don?t choose a name that sounds like an already successful site. It confuses consumers. If I?m an x-art site member why would I want to join a site that looks and sounds like the site I?m already a member of? Especially when both might carry the same popular girls.

That?s my 2 cents.

I've always found it funny how people plaster these "nominee" buttons all over like it's some kind of badge of honor.

Newsflash: any loser can get nominated with enough brosuckery. You didn't win anything, so stop pretending to be hot shit.

London Banker 09-02-2012 05:13 PM

http://creationcrew.com/gfy-nominee-2011.gif

Here's another idiot. Some kind of designer i've never heard of.

So you are one of the dozens of losers who got nominated by other losers in 2011 and didn't win anything. Why should anyone care?

davethedope 09-02-2012 05:17 PM

well it's not like she has anything to do with production, design or concept- she's just letting us know it's a top site, which it is. Is that so wrong?

I have had a membership to sexart since the day it launched, so I HAVE indeed seen the content (admittedly not for a month or so) and it is quite honestly, really bad. Just because you have some fancy sliders and rigs, DOESN'T make it is cinematic. If I wanted to watch a movie for great cinematography, there are much better options than sexart. The problem with sexart is the actual SEX part of it. The action is nothing special, the body positions you get the models in are terrible, the angles you shoot the action in is just downright laughable at times, and will make no one horny. If I have some free time here, I will go through one of your videos and screen cap on what I am talking about. Real sex, are you serious? Have YOU seen the content?

epitome 09-02-2012 05:25 PM

I suck a promoting straight porn as its not my thing...

However, when I see stuff like this I think couples porn. A girlfriend or wife doesn't want to see porn where a girl is gagging and tearing up on a 10" cock. That is a guys fantasy. A woman's fantasy is making love.

So if you are going to watch something together and actually have your partner like it then it is this.

Rankings 09-02-2012 05:39 PM

I would disagree. Aside from great quality, the themes alone are unique and awesome. http://www.sexart.com/model/ella-mil...805/THE_SCORE/ is a good example. This industry needs more sensual, passionate, erotic videos. SexArt seems to be doing exactly that.

xXXtesy10 09-02-2012 05:53 PM

MET program made of arrogant, fucking know it all employees. Why ask questions since you idiots think your egos already have them trumped.
