Tool last summer... Wish I had the chance to see Led. But I will try my best to see AC/DC
|
Metallica in the 80's
Kanye West last yr |
I saw Marilyn Manson before his first album came out in a tiny club. Crazy ass show. Broke a beer bottle over his head and started cutting himself open. Sounded great, and a true showman.
Best live band ever - The Toadies. Opening up for The Butthole Surfers. And a close second was The Pixies opening up for Primus and Janes Addiction. God damn The Pixies were tight on that tour. |
Sting back in '91 was pretty kickass. Saw him a year or two ago, and he's since turned Divo.
BB King a couple of years ago... the man's confined to a chair, but he still knows how to put on a show. I heard Tool's a great show, but the lead singer spends the entire concert with his back to the audience? |
Robie William... just before he went into rehab
|
Metallica, and Guns'n roses
|
I had the pleasure of seeing George Clinton and the P-Funk Allstars a year or two ago, by far the best show I've seen. Three hours on the funk train.
I saw Mogwai last year and was also blown away, much smaller gig but their sound is just so huge when its live. |
Bruce Springsteen two years ago. I am not a fan, but he was just awesome.
|
Pearl Jam, Toronto Canada - September 2005
|
Pink Flyod
The Eagles SRV |
I'm so going to see Iron Maiden in June in Sofia
|
so hard to say. lately its been Jurassic5, White Stripes, Matisyahu, and Pearl Jam, all in tiny venues in barcelona
|
That One Guy ( http://that1guy.com or http://myspace.com/that1guy )
Suicidal Tendencies Am hoping to Add the Slayer/Mastodon and Lamb of God gigs I'll be attending in April to that list. I have a feeling they will be incredible. |
Bad Religion warped tour 98(outside) if i recall correctly.
De la Soul/Black Sheep 2001 medium venue System of a Down Bell Center 2005 Children of Bodom/Trivium/Amon Amarth 2005 medium venue My best shows list suck :o |
I was also at a very small blood 4 blood show that rocked.
Show that sucked the most: HIM... fucking boring |

I saw lamb of god on the gigantour. Megadeth was pretty redundant... Lamb of God was the best band on that tour. |

Live Shpongle for me :)
|
Floyd, Stones and Tool. My one big wish is that RATM would reform as I would fly anywhere in the world fo the chance to see them play live :(
|
De La Soul - 2003
Method Man & Redman - coming this friday :) Prodigy - 2006 Freestylers - 2005 |
Metallica have been the best by far because the music is so awesome and the show is great.
Robbie Williams was better than I expected. GnR were good for the atmosphere but Axl's voice dies in concert, even back in the day. Festivals are better than concerts and the Sziget Festival in Budapest is cool, so if you get a chance check it out! |
Hyde Park, London, July 2 2005, all the UK cool bands including Keen, Coldplay, Sting and 'my luv' Ann Lennox :)
|
meatloafs final concert in melbourne a few years back and prior to that metallicas black album tour
|
In the 90s...
The Smashing Pumpkins with Garbage as the opener That was a damn good show. It was right after Garbage's first album and Mellon Collie and the Infinite Sadness. |
Mylen Farmer. The sound was perfect and show was also very nice.
|
Pearl Jam at Molson Park in 1998. They played for 3 hours straight and anyone that's seen them live knows that Eddie Vedder has one of the best male live voices (not just now, but ever). He has incredible range, projection, and power.

ELP
Stones Aerosmith The Who Black Sabbath |
Guns 'n Roses! use your illusion tour
|
Journey, Beastie Boys, Billy Joel, Lenny Kravitz.
|
Metallica is great in concert
Aerosmith is good because you forget all the hits they actually have until you see them and catch yourself singing along to everything Tom Petty is pretty much like Aerosmith I think the best concert I've been to from a overall experience standpoint was the Beastie Boys |
jane's addiction reunion at the first cochella
black crows with jimmy page at the greek theater santana at the hollywood bowl for his supernatural abum |
I know you're all going to laugh at me but I recently saw Justin Timberlake and he was incredible. The stage set up was fantastic as no seat was a bad seat. (the stage was set in the center). He also puts on a great show.
Elton John, Peter Gabriel, Madonna and U2 are also absolutely amazing live. |
