This evil little bitch has created a web betweenmy totalled car and my sister's car.

I'll try and get better pics in the morning if it's still around..and then I'm gonna kill it...LOL

eroswebmaster 06-16-2004 12:16 AM

The thing is bigger than a quarter..I'll take a better quality pic in the morning...I was a bit freaked to say the least..LOL

Just standing near it had me shaking..yeah I'm a pussy when it comes to spiders...so I didn't even check the settings on the cam I just hit the button a couple of times....LOL

Yes...while intriguingly beautiful they are soo freaking ugly at the same time...I'm still shuddering to think it's about 20 yards from me...LOL

Probably all around me in my house and I just don't see them.

I'd be too afraid to aproach it. Definite a lighter and aerosol can for me. Or propane torch if I had one nearby :)

I would be too, I fucking hate spiders. I don't think I could sleep until I knew it was dead and it didn't have any egg sacks tucked up anywhere around its web.

He used so much on sunday mornings getting his "church hairlmet' it was difficult to breathe.

KCat 06-16-2004 12:24 AM

This was middle of the night...between our 2 cars...a path I normally take and would have if I didn't come out through the garage and catch that thing with just a hint of light glimmering off it's shiny body...LOL

My favorite way to kill bugs :)

pure energy 06-16-2004 01:53 AM

Is it dead now?

Ash@phpFX 06-16-2004 02:26 AM

i dont kill spiders because they kill flies and shit and i hate flies, if he really bothers you just move him

Doc911 06-16-2004 08:19 AM

Cool Black Widow. If you have one i bet you have more. check in the trunk and under the hood of your car. I had a nest of them out side my office window once. fucking beautiful spiders

Phoenix 06-16-2004 08:21 AM

i heard a stat that says we are never more then four feet away from a spider no matter where you are...kind of freaky

im sure it was averaged out, as im sure there are no spiders under water etc

Tom_PMs 06-16-2004 08:25 AM

Dude, be careful, lol.
Also, dont leave it too long. When the hatchlings come out, you'll have hundreds or thousands more right out your door!

Food for thought :helpme

skinnay 06-16-2004 08:42 AM

i used to have a spider living in my old firebird. every morning i would see a new web spun in the passenger side. never even saw the spider. went on for a few weeks, and i guess it went somewhere else :)

C-Bass 06-16-2004 08:45 AM

You're scared of a spider 1,000 times smaller than you???

If it can kill you, yes. The fact that it is so small makes it scary. That thing can bite you while you dont even see it.

Furious_Male 06-16-2004 08:56 AM

Capture and Release. Don't be afraid of it :winkwink:

mindoza 06-16-2004 09:03 AM

when i was little my neighbor use to come over to my house if she was home alone to get someone to kill a bug(any kind). She would not go back in until you killed it and she wanted proof too.

It's a Black Widow. It can kill something 1,000 times larger than itself so yes, be afraid. Very afraid!

Widows and Brown Recluses get an automatic death sentence if I encounter them. I killed a Brown Recluse in my studio that was pregnant and hundreds of little brownies scattered all over the place. I still get the heebie jeebies when I think about it!

capture that thing in a jar and find someone to sell it to. I'm sure there is a market for black widows.

SCtyger 06-16-2004 10:35 AM

yep Black Widow .. or a similar variant...

they dont come out during the day.... so no need lookin for it... (it'll be stashed inside a hole somewhere.... and it doesnt look like u'll be peeking into any soon... )

LOL Put it on Ebay..

smit 06-16-2004 10:55 AM

black widows also like to hide under the toilet seat and bowl... so be sure to always check if you don't want to be bitten on the sack.

Catalyst 06-16-2004 11:30 AM

I had one in my shoe like 2 weeks ago..
