Best ways to loose weight?

Always eat 3 square but don't stuff yourself. Eat less than you normally would.
Don't and then go to sleep. Give yourself at least 3 hours before bedtime. Exercise. I suggest getting up and doing cardio in the mornings. If you're a drinker then switch to the hard stuff. |
Its all about what you eat.
Dont eat in between meals, this means only eat breakfast(BIG BREAKFAST BUT NOT OVER THE TOP ie. NOT SHITLOADS OF BACON OR ANYTHING ELSE OBVIOUSLY FATENING) eat lunch 1 large sandwiche(meat, salad) or 2 salad only/tuna sandwiches. For dinner eat a reasonable amount of food, ie dont eat 2 steaks when 1 will satisfy. They say to only eat a piece of meat for dinner the size of the palm of your hand and width. Don't go and get chocolate biscuits in between meals, if you hungry in between meals go and have an apple, banana, pear or carrot. I guess it depends how much you love your food, whether or not you will lose weight. If you can ... go to the gym and walk 5miles a week(not much at all, will only take an hour total) :2 cents: |

Ive just started my diet.
I have lost 4 lbs already from 170 => 165 1/2 I am drinking Nothing but Water. And Skim Milk. I only Eat Salads and soup. I cut my Cals a day from 4,000 to 660 a day It's been 4 days. and I am fucking starving. |

Eat smaller meals.
Chew your food better. No eating for at least 3 hours before bed. Drink more water. Exercise every day in some way. For lifting weights, less weight for more reps. Follow through, don't get soft on it. :2 cents: |

First, start eating the way you have to maintain your desired weight.
If you are just going to gain it back, then it is better to now loose it. Do this for two months. If all is well you should have lost some weight just by doing this. Increase your activity a bit, cut out a bit more food and alkeehwal and you will be fine. If you must start loosing quickly, I like the fast two days a week approach. Good luck! :rasta |
I recently discovered that I was twenty lbs overweight - and it's started to show. I modified my diet, starting working out in the mornings, and I've been going for walks every night with my wife and daughter. I lost five lbs in the past month.

Drinking lots of water alone will make you loose weight. If you consume 2 litres + of water per day then your body has no need to store water as you drink enough and will then flush it out your system causing you to loose weight.
I play soccer a lot more now and I am losing weight. I still eat the same but since I play 4 hours per week my belly is leaving me and my sides are shaping up again real nice :) Gonna start going back to the gym every morning - Mon - Fri - with my girlfriend. That will help me a lot as well. |
I was actually about 190 lbs 2 summers ago when I went on a really hardcore diet and started working out. Lost about 50 lbs in 4 months which was a little too far I thought, so I gained a little back and I'm up to about 160lbs now. The way I did it was I went on a low carb / high protein diet mixed in with 10km runs every other day. Lots of fruit, vegetables and protein based foods instead of carbs. Since then, I've just eaten healthier and managed to stay around the 160 range. Much happier this way :)

Decided to lose weight: Today 167 lbs, pants : 31-32 and still 6' Food: no more bread, butter, cakes, chocolate bars, french fries, fried food, fast food,chips, pasta, pizza and soft drinks ... Now I eat lean meat, salads with veggies, drink water ( and wine ...) low fat cereals for breakfeast, do my own salad dressing ( oil olive, vinegar, mustard, garlic, spices) and so on... At night, I eat a decent meal, but with no excess: I do not feel stuffed Exercise:Feet under a pece of furniture for situps: could barely do 5, now I do 30 a day. A bit a small weights for upper torse, arms, etc... and now bicycling. I am also probably older than all of you .... but not together... :1orglaugh |

Cut all your portions in half.
Take vitamins to keep your system's metabolism and dietary requirements balanced perfectly. Walk 3 to 5 miles per day or climb stairs, at least 4 stories on a regular exercise routine. get a $20 george foreman grill, go to the grocery store and pick up some greens and low fat turkey or chicken, then use your new grill to cook it. Make sure to drink lots of water and as for workouts, just run a whole lot until you cant take anymore then run back to your house for a shower and more GFY :thumbsup

1st step... read the labels of what your eating. Take in less calories then you are burning, and stay away from anything that says "High Fructose Corn Syrup , partially hydrogenated, or shortening".
Eat small portions of something healthy every 3 hours. Also add 30-45 min of high intensity cardio 4-6x a week. Do these things and you'll become an athlete.:winkwink: |
I am one of those guys who justs likes to eat. i am currently 18 stones 6 ft tall and 38" waist. my girlfriend has forced me on a diet with her. according to the books i should be around 10 stones for my height, that means i would have to loose 8 stones. thats alot! but u know what, i am gonna do it. not just for her but for myself. she doesnt have to loose much, couple stones.
as for exercise, i hate running but i can do over 100 sit ups no worries press ups i like to hate, i can do 50 no worries but i hate them too. i am so lazy i dont understand it myself. i just wanna loose weight so i can fit in nice clothes. plus i made a promise to myself! if i loose all my weight and be the weight i should be, i will buy myself a brand new bmw 330 convertable. black. now thats driving me crazy, i got a goal now i gota make it. thats my advice set urself targets and go for it! once u made those targets set different ones. one big word for u to remember, MODERATION eat only with moderation, and as my dad used to say to me, stop eating when ur still hungry. :thumbsup go for it |
