What broken bones have you had?
 

Broke both my ankles in separate incidences playing hockey, the left when I was 10, the right when I was 14.

Broke my right index finger about 14 years ago when I passed out in the kitchen after guzzling down a glass of green coolaid. I'm still not sure why I passed out, it was freaky. Hit the floor like a sack of potatoes, broke my front tooth too.

Never broke an arm though.

Oh, my then-girlfriend broke my nose on my 22nd birthday. She was... the jealous type, with a mean right-cross.

Collarbone, left wrist, D3 metacarpal 5 times, every toe on both feet, that doesn't include the numerous other injuries such as dislocated shoulders, elbows, knees, hyperextended knees, cracked and hairline fractured bones..

I'm a walking disaster.. then again I worked with horses for many years.

broke my ring finger on my left hand in '88 while using my fist to remove someone's teeth.

Lemme see...how about I tell what I HAVEN'T broken? It'll take less time.

my pinky broke once when i got into a fight. Its cuz i punched the mofo real hard. Thats it

Broke BOTH my elbows while playing soccer.

Broke every bone in my body before the age of 10. Had great parents specially my mother.

5 reconstructive surgeries on my face and still getting my teeth fixed ... this year is the last year I can hold onto them.

I'm pretty much a walking weather machine ... I can feel rain or snow before it's even forecasted.

It did not break all the way thru.....but I took a nice piece of my shin bone out when I fell on the corner of a cinder block wall ( By far the worst pain I have ever felt)

also i boke my rib playing soccer....

Broke my right wrist, shattered the cartilidge in my left pinky so it's kinda fucked up looking now.

Broke my big toe when my fat scuba partner dropped her weight belt on it .. broke my nose when making an awesome play at 2nd base when playing intramural softball in college. I didnt get hit by the ball .. just landed on my nose, (dont ask) :1orglaugh .. I broke my ring toe (if it can be called that) this past thanksgiving, I walked into a wall and stubbed it .. its still swollen .. If you couldn't tell .. I'm a klutz :helpme

i got smacked with baseball bat breaking my nose, my pink toe both feet numerous times, and two fingers

both ankles at different times (from hockey too).

can't even tie your fucking shoes without being in complete pain. Can't walk right, can't sit right, can't sleep right... miserable.

My problem is a genetic disorder that doesn't allow the body to correctly process the calcium that I eat. I'm a cheese/yogurt/chocolate milk fiend, but very little of the calcium is processed. :(

I can go through like 2 gallons of milk a week, but if you play contact sports and train martial arts long enough, you are gonna break and pull some shit.

tala - do you take calcium citrate? i believe the acidic content of the c in the calcium breaks the calcium down and makes it more bioavailable.

i've only broken fingers, toes and one foot. when i was 19, i was working out with dumbells. i heard the baby and let my hands drop behind me - while still holding the weights. too bad my middle finger was in between them!

My nose in 2 places is the only thing broken on me.

Funny thing is, I did kickboxing like 3-4 sessions a week for 7 years and never broke a thing. Never broke anybody elses thing either.

Whups, that's not true. I once sparred with a black-belt-having chick from Toronto, and she walked into my fist while trying to pull some of her fancy tai-kwon-do shit on me, breaking her nose. She was cool about it though.

Broke my left knee - otherwise known as a tibea plateu fracture

pretty much one of the worst leg breaks you can have
required a bone graft, 6 screws, and a steel plate to fix it
5 months of no walking or weight bearing. Still cant walk very good

That's close to what I did to mine, except the whole thing was crushed. Bone graft, two plates, and a new formica/steel/plastic kneejoint. Ickies.

Starting from the top:

Nose
Jaw
3 Fingers
Left tibia
Left fibula
Left whatever the far outside left foot bone is called. :)
Several toes

And I've had 2 screws, a 5 inch metal rod, and a bone graft from my hip.

I've had hundreds of stitches if you want me to list those too. :thumbsup

How the fuck do you break so many bones? Some of you people are either way clumsy and accident prone, or you worked as rodeo clowns.

I drink a LOT of milk and eat a lot of other calcium rich stuff so even though I was told I'd never walk w/o a limp when I broke my leg (3 operations), you can't tell except for all the nasty scars. :thumbsup

I also had a concussion when I fell sideways down the basement stairs onto cement when I was a kid (I was calling to the dog and lost my balance....I'm sure stairs like that are illegal now, lol). Probably should have split my head open, but I didn't - proof how hard headed I am. :)

Oh crap, I forgot I also broke my ankle in the motorcycle accident. It was pretty minor with all the other leg stuff. :winkwink:

Broke my right pinky finger when I don't know how old I was, all I know is one day it was fucked up and didn't heal right now now to this day I have a fucked up finger! It's bent to the right and shit!

2 motorcycle accidents, both where some 70 year old fucks fault running me over, i still love my bikes :)
