Ghostwriter... maybe. You sound like Lil Wayne in 40 years.

What irks me more than you posting this garbage is that you don't spend this time on your website(s) making money so you can get out of whatever shitty situation you're in.

I have no access to my web sites so i cant work on them.. and the ones i cant get pws back for were hacked down or somthing.. i have no tools i lost my laptop and my last hard drive.. so i have no tools here or ways to get into my web sites.. and promoting sites will pay far biggger with my raps when it starts to creep into comunitys on line..

i know some of you guys were kinda poking alot at me when i first got back but I was just trying to get back to a place i felt comfortable around and get something to start build.. plusss i was hoping some might take a intrest and help promote what i have as well.. All i need is one clean regular speed beat that i could own and make a song and put it on itunz and google mp3 single selling place or where ever.. then i could get some cross over like sex girl traffic from my m usic and blend it in with porn traffic that comes straight to my music and the other side to the porn parts..

To be completely honest, you need to work a lot on your flow. People aren't listening because of the flow, the quality, and can't understand a thing youre saying

Stop making excuses about how you can't run a website. If you are capable of recording vocals over a beat and uploading to youtube you are very capable of being able to run a website with ads. You could even make money off youtube videos if you couldn't afford hosting. Honestly, hang up the rap thing until you are at LEAST in a good financial situation because..

-No one can understand what you're saying.
-Even if I could understand what you're saying I'm sure you aren't saying anything creative or using any metaphors or anything else required for a good hip hop song.
-No flow. Ok you do KIND OF at least flow on the beat, but it's nothing special at all.
-The song quality is horrible and no one would ever buy it even if you were a talented rapper.

Every time you post I always reply putting you down and I'm sorry but I'm honestly just trying to talk some sense into you.

Okay, I know I've talked a grip of shit in the past because I think you're a horrible mess of a joke but I'll give you some non-shit-talking constructive criticism right now.

First of all, I think there's a reason why you haven't gained the notoriety you're looking for. Or a few reasons, as it were.

1. You don't use your own beats. Anyone can freestyle to someone else's music. Create your own and go from there.

2. Nobody can understand what you're saying. I don't know WHY this is because honestly I don't read much of what you say, but if you're looking to make it big you need to fix that ASAP. Even if you're looking to make it small, fix it. Kanye West did the through the wire shit but you could still understand him.

3. Change your name. When I hear "T-Rain" I think T Pain, and then I just can't take you seriously. Your name is Traviss Solomon? Why not some variation of that, that doesn't spoof off another very well known performer's name?

T-Soul? Travesty? Just throwing stuff out there.

I also don't understand why you can't work on your sites or at least promote stuff as an affiliate without your laptop and hard drive? You are able to record lyrics onto your computer, mix it with music and upload it to youtube and I know for a fact that's more difficult than putting up a couple affiliate sites and making money that way to get out of your situation.

And with that said, I will no longer give you advice.

Sort of a good point, but chances are he can't get ahold of a decent beat without paying something, it would be better or easier to just flow over a popular instrumental and upload it to youtube with the original artist and song title with (t-rain remix) or (t-rain freestyle) attached to the end. Many people do this and get some exposure from people searching for the original song or remixes of it even, like Lil Wayne's A Milli for example, which was remix'd or freestyle'd over by probably hundreds of people.

And I totally agree about the T-Rain thing, T-Pain is pretty much a fucking joke and copying his stupid name is even worse, unoriginal, and will quickly prevent you from even getting a listen by many people even if you copied a name from a decent artist. You would be better off calling yourself Lil Rain or Young Rain.

I got a demo copy of FL Studio for free from my friend's kid. Took about 10 minutes to install and even though I don't have a fucking clue how to use it and it's more of a play around with when I have the time thing, if he's dead serious about it I will personally ship him a copy of it so he can create his own beats.

Case in point about the using other people's music thing and a quick story -

I was in a band in high school. My high school put on a "Coffee House" which was an organized "open mic night" put on by the choir program to raise money. it was super hard to get into so we auditioned four songs. Three were originals and the fourth was wonderwall by oasis.

All three of our originals were chosen to be performed by us for the show, the cover was denied ... for being a cover. They enjoyed our original music WAY more than stuff we took from someone else (who at the time and even now Oasis was a huge band and nobody had heard of us lol) and made our own, much as MindWaste is doing.

^But hip hop is a lot different than other genres, covers are almost non-existent but many artists can take someones instrumental and make it their own (better than the original). For example Kid Cudi mixed Lady Gaga's Poker Face song and then a ton of artists remix'd HIS version.

But again I do see your point.

Well to some it up a bit here I dont like to bring it to the fact that all my songs are FREESTYLE and no written word to them.. for instance try to watch this video .. all freestyle..

http://www.stickam.com/viewMedia.do?mId=184003438

I look like crap but i was way relaxed had a good beat and flowed like a bloody river...

the part about me needing to change my name is garbage.. I have been T-Rain over 12 plus years ago.. I had a few songs on the radio local and that i let die working in diffrent directions.. kinda like i do now.

The name Traviss Solomon is my real first and middle name.. Moreau is my step days last name and my real dad last name is pedigo..

T-RAin TRAviss Rain Means Seattle cuz it rains here and i changed my name to t-rain from the name t train someone gave me back in the day...

Keeping to the shorter tunes is the way to go.

Really you're pretty much as good as any other rappers out there.

You have had a name for over 12 years and nobody knows who you are. You would get further using Mind Waste. Whenever i see your posts I know who it is "Mind Waste" not T-Rain.

I've got like 10 full CD's of different bands doing covers on my external hard drive.

There was a short kick with punk goes crunk, punk goes pop, etc.

this one was huuuuuuge. got a lot of play in the strip clubs too. as much as the original

etc. it's still being done, but you're right - hip hop gets "remixed" a LOT more than rock does.

Those are famous bands covering famous songs.

I am beginning to believe you're delusional.

Just cuz they are famous dosent mean the song has to be the best song.. I wish i could show you guys how good i am.. someone should invite me to a convention and if they were rich pay my way unless i could save the 62 dollars i get a month to go to one and make a few songs in front of you guys.. noticing that i am being sarcast but those songs are studio made and made for a profecinal song.. meaning that they could have spent alot of money on them and they still suck.. i spend 5 minute to make a 5 minute song...

any professional producer could autotune your shit, lay it over some big tracks, and put in mtv's top 10. just a matter of convincing one it's worth their time, lol.

Yes, even Eminem is auto-tuned, auto-tune isn't just a t-pain effect, it's used for everything.

Anyways, you don't need a great studio or any more than a computer mic to put something together that is pleasant to listen to. I subscribe a few people I stumbled upon on youtube that are amazing and can freestyle over a beat in one take with ease. Like Loch for instance, he has flows for days, his pronunciation is clear, and he absolutely slaughters every beat he gets on in real hip hop fashion:

Here he is rippin' it in a psycho ward suit for ya LOL

Holy Crap ... disgusting sounds. Go out and buy a Glenn Miller and/or Karen Carpenter CD to see what music is all about.

Music is about beautiful instruments, understandable vocals, 16 bar chord progressions.

NOT ... thump thump scream scream thump thump scream scream ad infinitum.

Not a single rap/hiphop song is worth trying to figure out. Ever try to hum a rap song and figure in your mind that 'this song (??) will be hummed by people 50 years from now????' ---- NOT

Seem to be too hung up on who your cousin is and wanting to hang on to his coat-tails rather than doing something off your own back.

I agree, absolutely dreadful. Who listens to this crap?
I guess you have to be stoned out of your mind to get it.
