an Someone Explain These CCBill Stats To Me? [Screencaps and Names Named]...
Way back on September 1st, 2010, I created a glorious post about Amateur Facials UK on one of my blogs.
One blog post, stats since Sept. 1, 2010: ![]() Not bad for one post one low traffic blog, eh? Herein lies the problem: ![]() Amateurfacialsuk pay 50% recurring, unlimited rebills. And yet I get this in my CCBill admin tonight: ![]() What this tells me is that 10 people signed up for amateurfacialsuk.com, but after their trial month was up, I did not get credit for the rebills. Not one single person rebilled. And I made a LOT more sales than that that aren't even listed. To make it even more hilarious, since I started this post I have lost sales: ![]() 2 rebills erased. It seems that every sale I sent to amateurfacialsuk.com was wiped out before it rebilled. I made a few sales in early September with my original blog post which have faded away. 30 days after the trial, my referrals disappear. Nice job. Amateurfacialsuk - you are theives. I will post back in a month and I guarantee you not one single member wil rebill. Nice scam, asshole. Fucking piece of shit. |

Could be a ccbill issue though, not necessarily a thieving sponsor. Though many things are possible... |

Looking again the green entries make sense. All the green ones are still active and are still within the 30 day trial length (see signup date). If you saw something green beyond the 30 days that would be an issue if you did not get credit.
I'm not sure about going from 12 -> 10. Double check the date lookup period perhaps and verify you have it as you think. FWIW my trial conversions are likewise HORRIBLE with ccbill recently. ![]() |

ccbill should make affiliate aware which transactions were 'corrected' by program owner

so, transactions can be 'corrected' by program owner
I tought by having 3rd party tracking and processing things like that would be limited by processor...

affiliate program owners using CCBILL's software have NO ability to do what you are accusing this program of, once a sale has been credited to an affiliate there's nothing the program owner can change.

I am upset that my stats for Amateur Facials UK seem to change randomly, and that I have never gotten one single rebill from their "trial" signups. I have not received one single rebill from Amateur Facials Uk. There's a rebill due on Nov. 28. Let's see if this one squeaks through. If it does, it'll be the first rebill I've received from a sale I sent them. I told Jade to check this thread, and got this response: Quote:
I've received credit for the 50% trial payout. But no rebills. Its only one blog post and very little money. I'm going to redirect the traffic in a day or two, anyways. |

I know they display whether you get credit for rebills in the admin but I always wondered if an unscrupulous owner could simply go in (or even set up an automated method to do this) each night before the rebills are ran and set it to not give credit for trials+rebills and then set it back again right after it is ran. Since it doesn't show history and AFAIK doesn't send the affiliate an email when this setting is changed it seems like a feasible problem. Many people may say that no one would do this, but the problem is I've seen sponsors trying some of the craziest schemes in order to defraud affiliates. I wouldn't put it past some to do such a thing. Note that the comments above are independent of this particular case. |
