News from St Kitts about Epassporte cards that are supposed to be working but not working

I finally got a hold of them even though its after their normal business hours. I talked to the supervisor. Some of the cards that are supposed to be working are not working. He said it is an issue with their 3rd party processor, they are calling them in the morning, as their processor is located in Europe. He is going to be calling them, and finding out what the problem is, and he is going to call me in the morning, and let me know what they have said.

I would not count on getting that call back. There's just too much going on for them right now.

But thanks for the info. My card is not working, either.
I am unsure if it's because of a technical difficulty or if it's because my account was flagged somehow. They did send me an email telling me that "my account's status" requires me to send in verification... so I'm not sure if they just turned off the possibility to withdraw money.

It's a little late now... but my advice to people is to NOT contact the bank before trying out the ATM.

Yeah strange that the tech issue only effects those with over 2k in funds.

Nobody with more than 2k has been able to get any cash out.

Does everybody with problem are located in Europe? Me, yes. Post where are you located if you can not get money using visa physical card.

Who has invented the $2000 limit? thats not true. Some people with more than $2000 in card can extract money, and some with less money can not. So its a question of random lucky if you are under $10000 I would say.

Lets clarify this.

If you got an email saying that you need to send in more documents then your funds will not be released untill they verify those docs.
This is stated on the form i received from them, also that it will take 5 to 10 days for them to review the docs and then they will email you back with how u can access funds.

I did try the ATM, 3 different ones before I contacted the bank.

If they don't call me, I will be calling them.

I think it's just that no one has as yet posted on gfy that they had more than 2k and could still get their cash out

please note that being verified by epassporte in the past does not mean the bank has this information as well ! Given the fact this is an off shore bank a lot of eyes are watching on what is happening here so it is logical that the bank wants to cover themselves by requesting additional information if they feel so or if they have the idea the card might be on a fake or madeup name.

Since a lot of people have more then $2k on their epassporte don't be surprised if it actually takes 5 to 10 days for them to process everything, it is not JP Morgan Chase we are dealing with here but a small bank ;)

Couldn't access my money, have over 7K in VV.

sent email to St Kitts and waiting for response. I also tried the VV on Moniker and other avenues and it didnt work. I am in Canada.

I went out shopping this morning the second after reading a post here that cards are working again.

Withdrew $300, spent another $190 in Victoria Secret.. Hope tomorrow it still works.. it's gonna take a few days to get the rest of it out, or spend it.

I just wish they would answer my email.
For three days now, I've heard nothing from them.
They told me to send them docs - and forgot to attach the form. All I need is that stupid form! But I don't just want to take it from here, because they could have separate forms for Europe. And anyways... if they could not answer my emails in three days, how long is it going to take them to verify them! Probably two weeks...

mine just keeps saying invalid pin so i assume it got locked when i kept retrying a month ago when they first got locked... still waiting for them to reply regarding this

i think it depends on how much money you have in your account... anything less than $5K, your card works and anything above it, it doesnt work. I'm thinking ePassporte wants to get rid of the little guys first then theyll handle the bigger guys after .. but who knows. All i know is that we want all our money big or small amounts :p

E-Pass has nothing to do with this (visa card area) any longer. The bank is being cautious to make sure the money gets to the correct owners.
