He might even praise the guy that he has girl. If Guy#2 is gay and he does the exact same thing with his boyfriend and he too gets seen, he could be tossed out of the military for being gay.

So it has little to do with telling anyone anything. Supposedly they can't ask you if you are gay, but if they find out you are, then you are done.

Well don't hold hands.
Lets have a guy number 3 and a guy number four.
Number three goes to movies with married woman and gets busted. he can be thrown out for adultery.
Guy number four goes out in assless chaps with some girl on a chain. Whats going to happen to this guy?
So lets have it all chaged to have 2% of the military have their own version of fun.

Well, it will not be like that once you change things around. Just like it is right now everywhere around you with gay flags, pride exibs and so on. Do you really need that shit? next come separate showers, special rules. Fuck that.

Let me try stating it like this. A guy joins the army. He decides after his first 4 years are up to reenlist. After that 4 years he decides he wants to make it a career. He is 10 years into his career when it is found out he is gay. He has had a perfect, spotless record up until now and has been a model soldier, but now it is found out that he is gay and he is thrown out. It would be one thing if they said up front when he enlisted that if you are gay and you lie to us about it you will be tossed, but when that doesn't happen, you do your job perfectly and then get tossed that is wrong.

Should a person be forced to live their life in secret because otherwise they will lose their job? What if he wants to take his guy out to a romantic dinner. Someone sees him there and it is the kind of place couples go, not a couple of singles guys. Or maybe he wants his long time boyfriend to move in with him (of if he is in a state that allows it get married to the guy). Should he be forced to just stay at home and never be seen in public with his boyfriend for fear of getting thrown out of the military?

What it boils down to is this. Do we tell gay people if they want to serve in the military they have to be prepared to be tossed out the minute they are found out so they better live like a second class citizen and never attempt to lead a normal life when they are off duty?

I don't know about any new words but, how about we just describe it as what it is: a totally fucked up economy.

Obama, BTW, won't do his cause any good by crowing about this news. I'd like to think that he's smart enough to know that already however.

I had two hot girls naked in front of the sheer gauze, and totally see thru, curtains in my room... when I walked outside the crowd at the bar patio CHEERED and 3 people wanted to buy me a drink... love Portland Oregon!

Great... you're having a discussion now and that's wonderful, I actually respect your discussion. However when his stupid ass showed, as usual he derailed the thread with his stupidity. I don't mind, I just jump right in and start ripping his ass apart reminding everyone that he's a pompous jackass.

He acts, oh sorry pretends like he does because he knows he will never have to back up anything he's ever stated, period. Unlike if me or you spewed the shit he has.

He's a keyboard warrior spewing stupidity and has called people like you a failure, everyone in our Industry rejects, and a list of other spew that's impossible to recall. This isn't once, twice, this is 100's of times.

He deserves the same level of respect as I would give dog shit being wiped off the bottom of my shoes and that's exactly the type of respect I will be showing him.

Enjoy your discussion Amp...

Don't join the military !!! Take on synchronized swimming or cheerleading. There are quite a few rules sets that are stupid and make no sense. Like one that says "Go die while I sit here and drink whisky"..

No you tell them to stay out. Just like those that chose to cheat and commit adultery. How come we don't have a case for those guys? What if he likes to fuck a trany?

Yeah, I live just outside of Portland. It is a very cool city. I've lived a few other places and really like it here.

The Jupiter is a cool place. I've never stayed then, but been in that area a handful of times. Some people don't like the fact that it rains about 9 months out of the year, but if that doesn't bug you, its a great place to live.

If the military had a rule that simply said, "No gays allowed and if you lie about being gay and get caught you will be thrown out." I would have no problem with that. Some people might see it as being discrimination, but I have always felt that companies should be allowed to hire whomever they want and if the military is essentially a big company.

The problem is there is no rule like this. So you can join, devote years to them and get tossed out simply because you are gay.

As for the other things. Adultery? If there is a hard and fast rule that you are made aware of when you join that committing adultery will get you tossed, then I have no problem with those who do it getting tossed. Same with fucking a tranny. If there are rules against it and you know that going into it and still choose to break them, then I don't have a problem with you getting tossed.

They either need to allow gay people to serve in the military openly or not allow them to serve at all. Right now they are stuck somewhere in the middle and it is wrong.

Speak for yourself.

If I'm in a shower with attractive naked women I'm sure as hell gonna be thinking lustful thoughts. And that goes double if I'm only 19 years old.

That's not to say I'd act like a jerk or anything, but come on let's get real here :1orglaugh

Gays know up front that they will be denied enlistment if they admit to being gay. Before DADT the question was asked prior to taking the oath...when DADT was enacted...the question cannot be asked prior to taking the oath...which was a way to allow those gays that want to serve in the military...to serve.

Once a person takes the oath at that moment he now is required to abide by military law as provided in the UMCJ.

Below is an article of the UMCJ.

§ 925. Art. 125. Sodomy

(a) Any person subject to this chapter who engages in unnatural carnal copulation with another person of the same or opposite sex or with an animal is guilty of sodomy. Penetration, however slight, is sufficient to complete the offense.
(b) Any person found guilty of sodomy shall be punished as a court-martial may direct.

Thus a gay can be gay...but cannot overtly practice homosexuality.

Interesting. Thanks for the info on this. I didn't realize it was on the books. I knew they used to ask it, but I always thought it was just as a "precaution."

Jeff R 09-22-2010 10:52 AM

The White House still is in a position to end DADT by not filing an appeal to the federal judges decision.

So? I thought that the point here is that just because someone finds someone else attractive, that is no reason to make them have separate showers and bathrooms, right?

What the rule says is do not join if you're gay. If you're a gay keep your mouth shut and don't bang other guys or hold hands. Pretty clear to me.
