Do Bluetooth headphones cause cancer?

I just want to connect to my macbook wirelessly and listen to some tunes while I code. So, is Bluetooth next to the brain safe?

You've much bigger things to worry about causing cancer, imo.

What's the point of this thread? You think you will get an answer to your question on an adult webmaster board?

Ive wondered about things like this, as they did say something about holding the phoneclose to your brain evey day can be bad. I notice when I leave my latop on my lap in bed, my nerves in the top of my legs began to ache & sometimes my balls too... of course, this could be the heat & not the radio waves& frequencies dished out from the laptop.

Likely far safer than holding a cell phone to your head.

Bluetooth is very low power - is why it's only usable upto around 30 or so feet away unlike a cell phone that can transmit upto several miles away.

If you're seeking something even safer than Bluetooth, then consider a FM wireless headset - not sure if they're still widely available, let alone even compatible with newer phones.

FM has some drawbacks, such as being easier to eavesdrop on than Bluetooth, but then as with most things, it's a tradeoff between usability and safety.

IMHO, Bluetooth is likely the way to go. Also, especially being you're be using it with a computer, there may be some hacks to reduce the Bluetooth tranmission power-level even further.

Ron

Everything causes cancer.

But to live longer, use your bluetooth headset instead of your cellphone because it uses much less power.

It hasn't been proven that Cell phones cause cancer either, but if you want to be extra safe...
