Do Bluetooth headphones cause cancer?
I just want to connect to my macbook wirelessly and listen to some tunes while I code. So, is Bluetooth next to the brain safe?

What's the point of this thread? You think you will get an answer to your question on an adult webmaster board?
|
I'd avoid it if you can.

Bluetooth is very low power - is why it's only usable upto around 30 or so feet away unlike a cell phone that can transmit upto several miles away. If you're seeking something even safer than Bluetooth, then consider a FM wireless headset - not sure if they're still widely available, let alone even compatible with newer phones. FM has some drawbacks, such as being easier to eavesdrop on than Bluetooth, but then as with most things, it's a tradeoff between usability and safety. IMHO, Bluetooth is likely the way to go. Also, especially being you're be using it with a computer, there may be some hacks to reduce the Bluetooth tranmission power-level even further. Ron |
Everything causes cancer.
But to live longer, use your bluetooth headset instead of your cellphone because it uses much less power. It hasn't been proven that Cell phones cause cancer either, but if you want to be extra safe... |
