After the December dance her link list dropped from the #1 position for a good term down to #7 and she had not done any tweaking to the site at all.

Hardly. I've mentioned about 3 times now that I have NEVER touched the SE's with aims to get positioning. I havent ever looked at the other ones. But what makes google "the best" engine out there, is also what makes it most posionable. I've said it a ton already -- LEGITIMATE RANKING.

Look at the legitimate sites in the top positions. How did they get there. Why are they ranked above certain other sites when at first glance you would think they shouldn't be etc.
