About epassporte ... I'm pretty sure this is the reason.

..

I'm almost 99.9% sure the funds in the virtual visa accounts are blocked by St Kitts bank to cover up all ongoing visa transactions.

As long as $0.01 is still in motion on that (visa) account St. Kitts bank will "NEVER" open up the account to epassporte management. NEVER.

Once "each and every" visa transaction is cleared and all transaction costs are paid then and only then St. Kitts bank will open up the account and Chris can move the funds to a "new" debit card partner.

Think about it what you want.

..

Listen ...

some transactions are in "pending" mode. (pre-auths)
This can take up to 30 days to clear.

It doesn't matter that most people don't use their cards to book flights or rooms.

Only one transaction in "pending" mode is enough to keep the whole (FULL) account at St Kits bank blocked.

well if its true then funds should be released after 2nd october.

if this is really the reason then im ok with epassporte and i will still going to use them. i use them 5 years with absolutly no complaints so i can forgive one month of holding funds. im not dumbass who keep there money for rent or food.

but if it isnt the truth then A-Team will take care of CM and rest of them.

I just don't understand how they could track the "money in motion" before all this happened? You always had pre-auths and probably hundreds of thousands of them, but still everything worked perfect!

I'm also pretty sure they (St Kitts) know the details.
But whats in it for them to speed up? Nothing .. just nothing.

Th'll follow the contract letter by letter .. ya can be sure of that.

Right... but still, for such a drastic move there might've been some sort of suspection. I doubt it that the bank just decided to block an account until are funds settle down...

Well not many others have. Its been vaguely mentioned but nothing solid like in the OP so the retards here can understand. Even the last statement from epass touched on it. Just read the few replies above to see the level of intelligence on here. People are still asking about the first statement and Visa's statement being different, read it properly and ignore the smart little bits that are there to throw you off track, and they both state pretty much exactly the same.

Agreed, theres too much bullshit on here, and my guess would be 13 to 18 yrs old lol, so easy to join a sponsor with freehost, get an epass, pay your own hosting and away you go. Thats how I started when I was about 8 or 9 yrs old

I've thought the same from the start why the funds in virtual are blocked, pretty obvious really, and epass knew this thats why they introduced the wallet. But it would of been nice of them to explain more when they introduced it, but then again they would of been concerned about causing a panic, imagine if they said "weve introduced the wallet just in case our bank or visa decides to stop our program and hold all your funds, so use the wallet", wouldn't of given us much confidence in the epass system.

There'll be transactions still not processed, and theres also the chance of chargebacks, fraudulent use and other reasons they would hold the money. A review of Visa's or the banks Visa program merchant account terms would say how long they will hold funds incase of program termination.
So as long as the funds really are there and as epass say the funds are safe, thats when the funds will be released.

Visa or the bank probadly don't know (or care to know) which epass accounts might have problems with transactions yet to be processed or my get chargebacks, thats epass's side of the deal, thats why all funds in vitual are blocked until they are certain no more transactions will be processed.

I've had Paypal and Nochex accounts blocked from my ebay days, and its 90 or 180 days before they release the money held.

Good post SomeCreep, but I'm sure the fuckwits here will disagree

I dunno man, ask Chris.

My Thoughts?

Maybe they want Chris to comply with something. (force him)
The longer this situation continues the worse it will be for epasspore, and St Kitts bank knows that as well.

Fact is it seems they have legal rights to keep things locked (for now).

The famous "Adapt Or Die" Business strategy.

Don't ya think Chris. M spoke with other possible bank partners already?

If that's the case then it have to be realy frustrating for him.

Plus and be sure of that .. both St. Kitts bank and epassporte will follow each letter of the contract.

Or do ya think they have a handshake agreement?

..

Exactly, theres also chargebacks as I mentioned above, I wonder what the merchant terms say about that, and if all the funds from personal accounts and business accounts are linked?
I'd guess the funds from personal accounts would be realised first cos only pending transactions, business accounts have chance of chargebacks. Whats the chargeback period when using a credit card?
But then theres the Bro issue, how many personal accounts with not so much funds in them, but enough funds to cover the Bro's and get them settled first, as we have seen already with wires going out.

Yes it would, and whats we wanted, some kind of time frame but we got bullshit, so we still don't really know if the funds are really safe, as Mallick says they are.

And for the haters, I've got $3 in virtual and $100 in wallet, I still want to use epass, just stating what I believe to be facts.

O well ...

Most people here never negotiated on that business level.
They don't know any better.

Maybe his PR skills are not top, but I believe that Chris will come up with a good solutions.
Don't underestimate the guy.

Dreamteam ? plausible speculation ? VISA payment settlements finalize in 4 to 6 months to become non-recourse (final sales.)

If the compensating deposit balance in the "VISA" account at SKNA is not fully collateralized after any recourse (charge-back,) to receive 85% of the funds tied up now would not be great. However, under the circumstances, a reasonable settlement of amounts owing currently.

However, this is pure speculation, without basis in fact and a "best case" scenario.

Oh yeah I remember now, when I joined perfectgonzo and all the other sponsors that issue epass accounts, I had to send them a copy of my birth certificate or get my mum to guarantee for me. And when my first payout came and they opened epass for me I had to get my mum to help me again.

Yes about the new laws, and I hope thats why epass have a problem and not because the funds have gone AWOL.

Anyway, I better come clean about all this, I think its my fault epass got their visa program blocked. The day before it got blocked I opened about 6 gift accounts with address's I got from google maps, when asked for goverment ID I just picked 'other' and keyed in any random characters, then I used the virtuals to open Paypal accounts so I could send money to people via Paypal. It wasn't much money but Paypal would only let me send small amounts using the virtual card so thats why I had to open so many epass and virtual accounts, maybe that kicked off the security alert and the bank blocked all cards.
Sorry guys

So this is all because of a forced auditing by the bank?
That would explain what "in motion" means. It would also mean that epassporte would have to check every transaction manually.

But why didn't they just say so? Why keep people in the dark about it?

Must be either really bad management or epass is doing some shady stuff with our money right now.

Business depends on cash flows. I just think Epassporte should pay interest to customers when their funds are locked in.

No that is retarded. Epass is not a savings account.

No, you are retarded.

They are holding money that they can be earning interest on while their customers are losing interest and may be costing customers far higher credit card or loan interest by the day.

Customers knew they would not be earning interest when they left monies in their EPASS account, but in the case where the money is held by Epassporte (or their agent) and can't be withdrawn by a customer and either placed in a customers interest bearing account or pay down a customers debt incurring interest, Epassporte should be compensating them for the loss.

IF EPASSPORTE DOES NOT CREDIT EVERYONE AT LEAST PRIME INTEREST FOR AS LONG AS THEY HAVE STOLEN YOUR MONEY (CALL IT WHAT YOU WANT) THEY SHOULD BE RUN OUT OF BUSINESS.

Wishful thinking. Many report that incoming wires in recently months weren't being sent there, but rather to some other bank. See the problem

Ron, this has "NOTHING" to do with incoming wires.
I'm talking about the "visa" account.

Stick to the facts.
