You know something Sally - A "C corp" does not "set you free" of state corporate business taxes. Most people would be better off with an LLC. It makes way more sense, and still provides you with the protections of a corporate veil.

My company IS a C Corp genius, and I have to pay a corporate business tax every year. The c corp accounting is more complicated than it needs to be, and in hindsight I would have DEFINITELY been better off as an LLC.

But hey, you are so scary smart, I must be wrong!

On the other hand, if you are constantly in a profitable position, you will also pay taxes one way or another using an LLC.
