...a '95 Jaguar...like new inside an out...runs great...for a ridiculously low price. Is a '95 any kind of a classic or will become one?

The lifespan in captivity is around 20 years so he probably has about 4 years left in it before he needs to sell it to a Chinese medicine manufacturer.

A classic money pit, perhaps.

Every Jaguar owner I've ever known (don't know anyone that currently owns one -- this was mostly late 90's) tended to have their cars in the shop a lot.

He told me...but off hand I do not recall what model. I do recall that it is a four door. Would one model be more subject to being a classic than another? I do know that some of the XKE series are considered to be classics and sell in the 100,000 and up range.

He also said he took it up to 130 miles per hour...but ran out of good highway so had to back off. I think he said it is supposed to do 160.

Well...he really didn't buy it to drive...he bought it because it was like new at a ridiculously low price. He has a 2010 Dodge truck and a 2010 Lincoln SUV. He buys a new every two years.

Good one. I've heard a different spin on this one where the second jag is cannibolized for parts to keep the first one running.
