Fedor may still be the best heavy weight in the World but sooner or later he's going to have to swallow his pride and fight the UFC's top heavy weights. It may as well be sooner while he's still in his prime. All of this other nonsense isn't really doing anything to cement his legacy and he's been way too dominate to finish his career with an asterix.

Fedor was the best in the world but the longer he's outside of the UFC the more irrelevant he becomes. He'll be forgotten by all but the hardcore/Pride fans I'm afraid.
I actually hope Fedor loses and is forced to join the UFC to restore his legacy against Brock, Carwin, Mir, Couture, Velasquez etc

The UFC puts on fights that sell, the best fighters don't always get title shots, just look at the undeserved shots Randy Couture got. So I don't see how the UFCs top HWs are really the best of the best.

I saw Fedor fight live against Brett Rogers when I was in Chicago. Fedor is a beast! Got his nose busted and still KO'd big Brett.

i think fedor has one or two more fights to fullfill...
ufc does want fedor and fedor wants to fight anyone from the ufc.. dana white knows what a huge payday it would be for a lesner / fedor fight and so does fedor... i predict you will see this happen end of 2010 or spring 2011 provided lesner wins next fight and wins it big.. . |

fedor made the very simple mistake
when in someone's guard your either both arms in or both out... thats it... he got caught .... I'm honestly surprised he did not stack him to escape he was trying a sambo escape from a triangle and that just does not work on lanky guys.... Good job werdum whats funny is I saw werdum get submited by a purple belt last year .... I guess there is hope for us all
