If I guaranteed the check on an ACH sign-up but charged 30% processing fee would more cam sites accept ACH as a payment option?

You would need to ask the cam sites directly regarding this matter. I can't really comment on it.

Right click on the flash screen, click settings, click on the webcam icon, select SplitCam as the source.

Get rid of splitcam and try out ManyCam instead. Works much better, better interface, uses less system resources. It's free as well.

Get the studio pricing, but don't worry about the girls till last. I see so many that think they can just start up a ppv cam site and worry too much about getting the girls, but can't get the script/hosting/traffic/affiliate program right to begin with.

Why are you using Splitcam ?

there are way better than that, try SUPER WEBCAM or VERY SOFT or CAM ZOOMER

Depends on what you're going for with the motor. Low end torque, high end power, streetability, a nice lope, dyno numbers, track numbers etc.
