“We are extremely pleased to bring a touch of Polish nobility to America. Our creation is set to redefine the flavored vodka category with its one-of-a-kind passionate and mystical characteristics, says Adam Bak, CEO of Adamba Imports International and exclusive US importer of Bak’s Bison Grass Vodka.”

Weird. It's fairly normal here (france) - I was never that impressed with it.

Late last year I finally found Luksusowa based on a recommendation here, and it was pretty good. Not very expensive, either.

The vodka is good. I can't really describe what it tastes like, but it does certainly taste different. It smells different too, like cut grass with a hint of spice and vanilla.

Now the vodka mixed with apple juice is a different story- uck! It tastes kind of funky and the smell is, well, kind of like vomit. In all fairness to prezzz, it may be the brand of apple juice I'm using. I got Minute maid 100% pure apple juice, because the was all they had. It's just straight apple juice, but most apple juices are a little watered down and mixed with sugars and such. Minute Maid is a little strong. Next time I come across some Martinelli's I might try it again. Martinellis is the best apple juice IMO. If it's not good w/ Martinellis it's probably just not a good combo for me. The Bison Grass Vodka is still a win, just have to find the right pairing. I actually think it might be interesting to try w/ some of the St. Germain. I also have some blood oranges and other misc citrus left over from a ceviche I knocked out earlier this week so I've got alot to experiment with. BTW, if any of you dig ceviche, this ceviche recipe is the shit- ![]() http://www.foodandwine.com/recipes/b...callop-seviche I skipped the popcorn and added crab meat. It was really amazing. |
